Sounds familiar... Mine is that way too... (ANAVON) of course there is a story behind mine...
I was named after my Grandmother Lela. I didn't like my name when I was younger because no one could ever say it and when you're a kid, you don't want people to have problems with your name.
Now I don't mind, I just expect them to not say it until I say it to them first....:o

Okay... get ready for this one. My dad had a sisiter named Anna, who had polio and passed away when she was 15. My dad wanted to name me after her but didn't want just Anna. So he and my mom got talking and he had dated this girl by the name of ANAVON and my mom knew her and liked her and also really liked the name... So... There you have it. Now the ending of the Story is... The Lady named Anavon married my Dad's cousin so now we are "All in the Family"... LOL ;)

So Lela... Are you still in AZ?? Is it warm today??
I'm actually in Arkansas....it's beautiful here....alittle windy but sunny. I left 12 inches of snow and ice behind in Ohio so this seems really nice. I'm planning to take alittle break this afternoon for a walk. Wish I could soak up some sun to take back, LOL!

Sorry,,, somewhere I got the idea you were in Arizona.
usually I go by Tami. When my mom gets super mad at me, though, I am my brother John Curtis! because she is so frustrated she forgets which kid i am.
ROTFL

sorry, my computer went funny for a minute, or 15.
I love that story. Really cute that you're "All in the Family" now.
I love your challenge, Lela! We just had a bunch of interior work done on our home so this is a perfect time to do this challenge - I don't think I would have scrapped it if you didn't tell me too!
I have to take pics first though, and then get them printed. I guess this will be a catch up page this week I'm definitely going to do it, though.
My newest scrapbooking supply is this digital scrapping program that I am using....how that qualifies. Since I was doing my page digitally you'll just have to forgive my not 'hiding' journaling.....lol................
Finally! It actually only took me about 2 hours, 10 minutes. I had serious computer problems mid-way through. However, when I finished, my husband had cooked fried pork chops, baked potatoes, and more. He had fed the girls and wanted me to eat.
So here is my challenge page. I did Nanny 911. Pictures were taken 2 weeks ago today. Journaling is in hidden frames behind pictures on the right page.
