Kids are in bed waiting for Santa. ha DH is doing dishes(my hero)!
Just finished my first card to my new DSS little sister that I'll be able to mail out friday or saturday. Now off to fill stockings with socks and underwear.lol

Merry Christmas Everyone!!!!
We are off to the shore today to spend Christmas with my family, last night we spent Christmas Eve with Dean's family, what a fun time! It was hilarious watching my MIL getting smashed along with several other family members, I laughed so hard it hurt! His family is very loud and boisterous and it's always a blast being around them! Today will be MUCH quieter, my family is rather subdued, so that's probably a good thing, I don't know if I could handle two days of loud and noisy in a row! :mrgreen:
I hope everyone has a very nice Christmas and that Santa brings you everything you wished for! I feel very blessed to have all of you in my life, that in itself is one of the best presents I could ever receive!
Well, off to make the sweet potato casserole to take with us and get hubby up so we can open presents here before we head out! Enjoy this day everyone! __________________

yes you read that right..I got not one but TWO Scor pals.. both from 7 Kids. Hopefully John won't have an issue sending it back and getting a GC issued for the same amount so I can spend it on other stuff.
Otherwise I'll be selling the spare to one of you...heheheheh

WooHoo! Santa was very good to me!! DH gave me a Wii, a game pack for the Wii and engine guards and foot pegs for my bike. DS game me a Scor-Pal and a Route 66 stamp set from Artistic Outpost (I've trained him well, don't you think?!) The in-laws gave me a set of Copic Caio Markers and cash!!! I'm a happy camper!! Now, I just need to learn how to use the Copics!! Maybe I need to take a Copics class at Create IT Crafts!!

You are so right, being sick really does stink. I am such a good mommy - when I was teaching my kiddos about sharing, my daughter really took it to heart and she shares EVERYTHING! (even chicken pox!) Fortunately, she is all better, but it took nearly 4 days... |

I believe you can see samples using 4 SAB sets on SCS. I'm not thrilled with the ones I've seen...I'm hoping that there are some great new sets in the big catty... |

I thought those were the Hostess sets that have been put up early?
oh well, If nothing excites me, I will only buy what I need, like the ink caddy, and not what I want..like a few stamp sets. I do need more paper( not that I have any room for it all....)

Just got tickets to see comedian Bill Engvall in May. DH loves him! He IS funny! We're going next Friday to see Jeff Dunham...he's a comedian/ventriloquist and he's hilarious!
Also got Orioles' Opening Day tickets- I've never been to Opening Day before!

so, in our annual fit of :"let's reorganize our crap"
we decided to go ahead and downsize a little bit with regards to our DVD collection.. as in lose the big bulky storage units and go with Binders.
Just counting my COMPLETE TV shows.. not counting ones that I am still adding to, we have 300 individual discs.
and that DOESN'T factor in the movies or other stand alones like some concerts let alone the CDs....
and since I ALSO decided to CATALOG everything while he's gone, that's a major project I have just set myself.
Damn I hope there's enough wine to get me through.....

Wow you guys have been busy! First off where is the melting pot around here??? We used to go in VA and it was soooo yummy - we did Autumn's 4th or 5th bday dinner there and she absolutely loved it; however, with young children they are not patient so be sure to pack lots of crackers LOL Alison did not like that she had to wait for her food to cook! We had a busy christmas and i am in recovery now LOL from the mad dash and rush to get everything ready! Hope everyone had a great holiday and Tracy did santa really leave them underwear LOL

Do you have the Wii Fit? DH got me a Wii for Christmas but wasn't able to find the Fit...it looks like it would be lots of fun...and you wouldn't realize you were exercising...and, boy, do I need to exercise!!! I've definitely gained weight over the past few months! |

I'm back! Did you miss me? Probably not, but that's ok too. ;) We got in Saturday night and spent yesterday trying to get things somewhat organized. DH went back to work today on a half day schedule. I think we all need the break and to try to re-establish our routine a bit. Still much unpacking and laundry to do. I love my family, but I think I am glad that I live 5-1/2 hours away from all of them  Hope you all enjoyed your Christmas. |
