I think you should just by-pass those ugly critters and go to the superintendent or whoever is higher up in that system. I was thinking about the kidnapping thing too. That's not acceptable. Kids are going to do stupid stuff and they don't think of what the outcome could be. The staff at that school are jerks. Write a letter to the Commander, that should get someone's attention.
The first step after the principal would be the area director, then the superintendent of schools. I'd definitely ask the principal why the school isn't using the ConnectEd messages for absences like the board requires...just my 2 cents!
No they snuck out while they were suppose to be sitting at the kitchen table. They got really quite, so I called for them, since I thought the went upstairs, but the were gone.
To put the topping on the icecream, they had the nerve to tell me it was older DS fault because he told them they didn't have the gutts. Then they turned around and said it was because of me since I keep yelling out them...duh. When you aren't doing what your suppose to do you get yelled out...would they rather I beat on them...because I'm so feeling that, it could be aranged.
Where the heck is that SNAPPED production crew! They could be getting live footage leading up to my crazy freak out.

Oh Tracy, I feel for you, I know what you're going through! Want me to send Dean over? Believe me, he'll put the fear into them and won't have to raise a hand, just ask my grandson!

I do! I do! I saw his picture! No matter how old he gets Mary, he'll always be your "baby"!
Yes, I guess you're right, Kathi! He's 29, now, but still my baby...when he got married I gave him the Robert Munch book I'll Love You Forever. That wasn't a very becoming picture of him, though! Guess you can't look good with sand in your face!
it's tales like this that remind me why we chose not to have kids together.... . actually, no..it's listening to my sister that reinforces it daily.. her kids are hellions..and only one is in school!

Okay meade girls, I figured out how to post on the blog. I also figured out how to erase comments. I did for one of them since we don't want anyone getting smart, do we?
8 C flour
2 C sugar
1 C cocoa
1 C shortening( NOT butter or margarine!)
1 Tsp ground cloves
1 Tsp cinnamon
1 C chopped nuts ( or 1/2 C nuts and 1/2 C raisins)
2 Tsp baking powder
1 Tsp baking soda
1/2 C whiskey
1/2 Tsp pepper( why they are called pepper cookies with just this teensy bit of pepper I will never know)
1 1/2 C milk
1 Tsp. salt
Glaze:
powdered sugar, Cocoa and water mixed to desired consistency( I like it thin, but not so thin it all runs off the cookies)
Preheat to 375.
This is a VERY dry dough, so either use a strong man or a Kitchen aid to mix. drop by small balls( I use the medium PC scoop) about an inch apart on ungreased cookie sheet. bake 12-15 minutes. cool completely before frosting.
dip cookies about half way into glaze and let set on waxed paper. I usually get 9 dozen or so cookies.
If you add the raisins, this makes the cookie a bit moister. this really is a dry cookie, perfect for dunking....

Busy day here. Need to catch up on all the things I didn't do this weekend, like cleaning.lol I already have the dishes done, the counters wiped, laundry started one kid out the door for school, almost time to wake the other three.
Need to go to the post office, clean up all the papers from the desk that I throw on the floor inorder to fix the stupid printer. Then I must stamp and take pictures and upload to the Meade girls blog. I have something here from Kathi, so Amanda and Rhonda are going want to see me soon.lol
I found peppermint oil this weekend so I will be making at least one batch of Virgin patties. Also have a whole bottle of sober cherries and if there is enough sugar left over.. some peanut butter cups.
I think we can safely say dessert will be covered......

Wow it all sounds very yummy! I think I'll take dessert off my list of things to make for the swap. Well I already have cookie dough in the freezer for a cookie tray so I will still bring that.
THANK YOU SO MUCH I can't wait to try all of your goodies!
