Default Question about Rubber & EZ Mount

I've had Aleen's Tack it Over & Over on my bellas, but decided to start using EZ Mount. When you do this, do you cut off extra rubber? Or do you just cut the foam? Just wondrin what the sistahs were doin.

I just cut the foam (use a hot knife, it's wonderful). All my Bellas came trimmed very close anyway.

I cut the foam and extra rubber if I need to.
Tip: to remove your aleens tack it over & over use the adhesive removal orange square thingy from SU!. Its the far best thing I used to remove the sticky stuff.

For me it depends on how large the stamp is. Most stamps I cut as close as I can get to the design. When I leave extra rubber I have a better chance of it taking on ink and me getting it on the page. I think it falls under the category of Personal Preference.

Thanks! I thought so too, but wondered if you cut any extra rubber away since they were already trimmed so closely. Haven't tried the hot knife, but sounds like I might need to!

MichelleSG, how did you trim with a hot knife? Diagonally (following the edge) or straight down? The bella stamps are cut a little diagonally - am I making sense? I haven't mounted mine as I didn't know how to do it. TIA!
