Christmas card question - do you use flowers on yours?

I'm making my Christmas cards, a process that I love. However, I HATE mass-producing, so I make no more then 4-5 of the same design. Most of them are inspired by samples I find in the SCS Gallery, often several samples combined into one card. I'm an SU demo, so I have a LOT of Christmas stamp sets, both current and retired. I'm having a ball!!

But I have a question - do you use flowers on your Christmas cards (like as the focal image) that aren't poinsettias? I would LOVE to get out my beloved Roses In Winter stamp set, for example. I guess it would all have to do with the colors used, and the sentiment... Just wondering if any of you have made any flower Christmas cards. I'm going to go to the Roses in Winter (or Petal Prints, another favorite) Gallery and search for Christmas just within that one Gallery.

A couple of years ago I used the large flower and leaves from Paint Prints as the background on my Christmas cards. They looked like poinsettias when I was done, so I'm not sure really if this is the kind of example you're looking for. But I really liked the way they turned out. I used cranberry and bottle inks by Adirondak. I don't have a picture of them, but the flowers were similar to these ones by scoutpup:

I bet if you used Christmasy colors the Roses in Winter would make wonderful Christmas cards.

I think, as you said, if you use the right colors and the right embellishments, it would be beautiful!!
