I hoped everyone had a great holiday. My holiday was great. My husband and daughter are home with me for 11 days (DS has to work Thursday and Friday only this week). :mrgreen: This week I hope is going to be fun and relaxing. I got up early with my husband and daughter and went to the mall. We were there by 7am and we were the only ones in every store we went to. I shopped until my heart was content and was still home by 10:30am. Who would ever think that could happen? There really weren't any great sales. Tomorrow or Friday I am going to start on my swap projects. I know one of them will be a calendar (checkbook like) cover. I have to actually stamp by other idea to see if I like it before I can decide if it is a definite. How is everyone doing with their payments? Just want to make sure I get enough prizes etc for everyone.

Which night are you talking about crashing? If it is Saturday night I am all for it. Just leave me one space in a bed. Like I said the more the merrier.:mrgreen: What should I bring for the sleep-over party??

If you know what you are making for your swaps just let me know like . . . 1 card and 1 other. You don't have to tell me exactly what the other is. I will let you know I am making something to do with a calendar and ?? Try to look at the 1st and 2nd post and let me know if I have you down for everything you said you would be bringing like . . . door prize . . . munchie or drink, etc. . . . card and other, etc.

Hi All: Sorry I have been MIA for a few days. I still haven't decided on what I am making for this swap yet. It's my first shoebox so I'm nervous about it.
I know for sure a card and then something else. I was thinking calendar type thing too but if Bonnie is going to do that I will think of something else.
My neice Sam is coming with me. WE live about 20 minutes from Florence so its a hop, skip and jump for us. We'll bring whatever you may need so please feel free to PM and ask. What about drinks? Has anyone signed up for those yet? Do we bring our own? Besides supplies and enough packets for everyone is there any other suggestions out there? HELP that is what I need. Your advice and suggestions are always welcomed.
Can't wait to meet everyone!

Ok with the holidays out of the way, (great but so glad it's over) four birthdays still to go in the next two weeks, I will so ready for our get together.

Sandye - I know your away right now, but wondering if you made reservations for dinner on Friday. Do we have a head count on who will be joining us on Friday???
Bonnie - I will try to give you a call on Saturday eve - PM me if this isn't good for you. Sunday will be bad for me as I will have a house full for the grandson's 8th birthday, decided I wasn't throwing big party this year (I know bad grandma) but I told him we would do the laser kraze thing once school was back in and he could invite some friends to go then. He seemed okay with it. So having all the kids here for dinner/cake and presents.

So glad you are coming, it will be so neat to meet everyone. if you want to bring some pop or what ever that would be great, I know Joy is down for soda and all the paper products so maybe if you want you could do the drinks and Joy can do the plates and such. Just a thought, we will have a refig and I will pick up a bag of ice since I am right around the corner from the club house.
Can't wait to meet you, see you in a couple of weeks!

Ok after much deliberation I have decided my two projects will be:
drum roll please, just kidding just ask mamajackie she will contest to how long it can take me to make a decision such as this, of course it does not take me that long to purchase stamps and ebay and such,
any way we will be doing a tile coaster in a new way something we can all take to work with us or put in our craft area afterwards to mark the wonderful time will will be having, so everyone has to be good so we will have a great time. also I will be doing an acate card. I hope this works for everyone and I can not wait to see you all!
I'm nervous too! Joy, correct me if I'm wrong but I thought you wanted to over night on Friday so you could join us for dinner and not have to drive an hour home.
If we can't over night in your room I'm sure we could all split a room. Not sure how many ALL is lol. But you and Julie know I'm game for anything!
I just spent over an hour looking for my prize/gift fun fun!

I have you down for a door prize and your two ideas. I think they both sound great. Beat, beat, beat, hear my drum roll. I am counting the days down too.
Didn't want to rush the holidays but I am going to KY. HEY. I told my boss I was flying out to KY and he asked for what. I told him and he said now I know you are crazy. I gave him a bag of tootsie rolls for x-mas with a hand stamped saying about Christmas Fudge and told him he better keep the hand stamped thing because I worked hard on it. Yep, the only women in a all male construction company. I have someone in my room on Friday and didn't want to crowd her, sorry. Saturday is totally open for one or all.

Does everyone on here know what they are making already...Gosh I am behind then. I was hoping to get the house organized this weekend and get my projects planned and ready after that. I can definately bring a couple two liters of coke that's no problem at all. Its gonna seem strange cuz some of you I feel like I know already and yet we've never met. How fun and exciting this is going to be. I am getting pumped up and ready.

Joy is DaiseyFreak. She can stay at my house but I'm going to see if they want to get a room so my hubby can have a guy night lol.
DaiseyFreak and I met on the Play it Forward Stamped Images thread alittle while back. Now she says I'll make fun of her come the 12th cuz sgc is also coming. It's so funny that I talk with these ladies and now going to actually meet them and they live like 30 min away.
I was relieved to read what you said about not having a clue as to what you are making either...SHEW load off my back there. I was feeling the pressure.
Now I can get my house back in order after the holidays and focus on this swap....It will be my first so I am excited.
I grew up in the Dayton area too lol, I'm a military brat so we were right near the base. This is also my first swap.
You've got to be kidding me! That's unreal. WHich High School did you graduate from? Year if you are willing to share that. Wouldn't it be weird if we went to the same High School??? I'm not a military brat; but my children are. My husband is retired Army.
I am super duper excited about this, and the projects sound WAAAAY cool.
I am an hour away, and I would like to stay Friday night, b/c esp. with gas prices, I want to stay down there and eat dinner with you all, and 2x on Friday, and 2 x on Saturday- that could be a stamp set I could buy, lol!
I don't care where I stay, I have a jeep cherokee, guess I can sleep in the back of it, lol
You can always stay here either on your air matress in the guest room or in the living room, you know I don't care. I'm sure hubby won't care. He doesn't really have a say in the matter lol.
