Hi All - I previously posted this on Saturday, but just realised the pic had disappeared from my gallery (I didn't name it properly!!!). Anyway, here it is again.
I'm a bit green at this, but I've really enjoyed looking at all the cards on this site and decided to finally try my first challenge. This was a tough one! I don't have many stamp sets (yet) so I was lucky to find an animal stamp I could use. My "limited supplies' was not using any eyelets which I'm quite fond of since getting a Crop-A-Dile last weekend. It was sooo hard not to punch eyelets with this card!!!
And I keep getting this message when trying to post even though I know I've made more than 3 posts now... "You are only allowed to post URLs to other sites after you have made 3 posts or more." Hmph!
EDIT: The 3 is really a 15 post count to post URL's. At least I found my answer.
I have made two cards for the challenge. Challenge parts 1 and 2 for the first card, and part 3 for the second card. I don't like to think about fall coming, but it will come, whether I think about it or not, so I may as well embrace it and enjoy. Here are my two cards.
Well, this is it. I combined all three in one. I was plesantly surprised that this turned out exactly how I wanted it to. I don't think I have ever been this excited about a card I've made. As far as limiting something, I don't have any accessories that I use all the time, instead, I'd say about 75% of the cards I make I completely CASE. There was no CASEing what-so-ever in the making of this card.
I have a running list of the qualifying stampers for the drawing in post #1 (up through post #205.) If you think your name was accidentally left off, please send me a PM.
Please do not PM is if you've finished the challenges after this post. I'll update it again shortly. ;)
I know the drawing is over, but I still wanted to post this. It is a second autumn scene, again with a forgotten set. I really created this card for LSC121, but was inspired to do the scene by this challenge.
My DH just came and told me I have 35 minutes left. He said he misses me. Come on, I only went from 4 posts to 65 this weekend, and from having never uploaded anything or completed any challenges to having a full page in my gallery and completing 9 different challenges.
It's not like I locked myself in my stamp room all weekend either. We were at the zoo all day Friday, we ran errands for 2+ hours on Saturday, I went to Sunday School, church, and a friend's ordination service on Sunday, and we went to a community dinner today. Plus we got our breakfast nook cleared out and organized (after having moved in 2 months ago), and I did some laundry.
Oh well, my time is almost up. And, btw, I'm not complaining, I think it's adorable. My DH is so cute!
Thanks Jen!!! What a surprise this morning to find out I won. This was a fun challenge and everyone's cards this week were fabulous! I get so much inspiration from everyone on SCS!!
