Howdy Scrappin Gals,

Hopefully you are as excited for the weekend as I am. I (being the forgetful person I am) keep getting the weeks mixed up for who does what challenge. So I was ready for a sketch last week and was shocked to find that Tracy had already posted one. But I had a sample for the layout done and then decided that I would peruse what is out there before settling on something. Glad I did, because I found this awesome blog : CISter's Stylish Sketches

So without boring you with my incessant ramblings any longer, here is the sketch I chose:

Wow, I feel like i'm getting so much done today! My SIL came over to play with DD and I get to sb!!! YEA! I got Sketch 2 from last week done and now here is my DPS for this weeks sketch. I'm not sure how I feel about the finished results yet, but as long as my mom likes it I guess that's all that matters! lol

I had a fun and leasurely time putting this together - since I wasn't putting it up on Sunday - so I tried to plan for every section. Needed to make up my own piece in places.

Yea! Finally got some time to get a sketch done My page kind of took a detour from the original sketch, I couldn't make up my mind what picts to use...I ended up using all, LOL! Always my prob

This is losely based on the sketch, but the basic shape of the page comes from it. I liked the idea of putting the journaling in the star and although the star shaped would have fit right in on my page, the journaling I wanted to include wouldn't have fit on it.
