I need to thank Marcine, Alice, Anne Marie and Karen for some beautiful cards. I'm hoping to sit down today to get some stamping done. That's the plan, at least - you know how the day never seems to go as planned!
Debbie~ Did you stamp the swirls in white on the BG? Oh my, so very, very pretty! I love everything about it...including the bling!! I am a HUGE bling fan! Very unique style of opening as well! Love it!!
So glad to hear it made it and you like it! Yes, swirls are stamped in white...I first made that card without them, then thought it needed something more. I love my white craft ink!
Thanks Debbie! Just so you know, I am CASE-ing it right now! Making some cards for the new girls! Of course, as you know my first card to people is Asian inspired, so I am using flourishes with an Asian twist!
And, I did not have any flourishes until tonight when I received an early b-day gift! My MIL is awesome...sent some SU stuff and some clear stamps from Target! Love them, but it is a little difficult to get a clean image. I think I might be pressing too hard??? Anyway, they are fun! And I love the flourishes!!

Connie S...........glad you like the card. Yes, after Daisy's trip to the Animal Urgent care over the weekend some of the rocks have moved out & she's back to her mischivious self. LOL She is growing. Weighs a whole 4 lbs. now.
HEY Nyoka, I'm not getting any birthday cards.............OH mine's in May. LOL
Keep up the good work ladies. I'm having two women (driving down for 1 1/2 hours) in to stamp tomorrow. They love to pick my brain. Slim pickings but they don't seem to mind. DH will have to sit with puppy.
There are a couple of cases I want to try tomorrow.

Glad you liked my bella. I have a lot of them so hopefully no one will get sick of seeing them!! I'm running about a week behind in replies - I need to get stamping and make up some more cards!

I did make some cards last night...but they are not completely assembled or properly BLINGED up...yet! BTW, if anyone is looking to buy stock, I would suggest Ranger, Inc as I am going to be a weekly consumer of Stickles!!!
Carol glad Daisy is doing well. Zippy's eye is not healing as fast as they like. More meds another vet visit next week. Told me if it doesn't heal he may need another surgery. Yikes.:(

Hi Everyone, I've gotten behind, again, on acknowledging cards. In the last couple of weeks, I've received cards from Ann Marie J., Lauri F., Karen B. (are you a lefty?), Anita S., Melina R-B., Bonnie H., Lisa M., Marilyn D. and Mary F.
I'm enjoying reading the daily posts here on SCS.
Working on getting Halloween cards finished and in the mail.
Sorry I haven't been around SCS pen pals lately, or sent out any cards we have been dealing with a family crisis here and it has taken it tole on all of us.
My cousin with MD went into the hospital a week ago yesterday with a simple case of UTI or so we thought, she ened upin ICU with phenemonia and both lungs filled with infection and shutting down cause with her having MD her body was not letting her fight it off, so on friday doctors called us all into the hospital and told us all that if she made it thru the night it would be a miracle and to say our goodbye now, will I didnot go to the out of town wedding I was to attend last weekend and stayed with my family will on Saturdat Morning around 11am we got our miracle she responed to the medicine and they remove 2 liters of fluids from her lungs that day and 2 more liters on sunday, as of today she is holding her own and sitting up and eating ice cream and if she continues to do well tonight and half the day tomorrow they will put her in her own room and out of ICU. Praise the Lord. Today was my first day at home and have a pile of mail to go thru. Hope all goes will and will be able to do some stamping this weekend.

Dolores.........so sorry about Zippy. I know how frustrating it can be when you want them well TODAY. Sunday was a bad day for us because Daisy was in the urgent care 28 miles away. We called 4 times that day & the doctor called us twice. I will keep him in my prayers.
Oh my gosh Steff.......so sorry to hear about your cousin but glad to hear she's doing better. Prayers here.

Gotta get ready for the girls that are coming to stamp at noon. I have the kitchen table set for lunch & lemon bars made. Have the stamping tables ready to go.
Carol, can I come over and stamp too. I rather come there than go to the doctors appt. Those lemon bars sound good.

I did get to make 2 cards, though! That was fun! Then the calls from my family started rolling in which interrupted my crafting, but was equally great!!

I want to apologize to begin with so...... I'm soooo sorry!! I have not properly and timely posted and sent back thank-you's.
My personnal life has been a challenge lately and to be honest I haven't had the will to do a lot of anything. But, I have been looking at alot of postings (all night sometimes cuz having trouble sleeping!!:cool: ) and this site and all of you have been a great help! It is quite amazing how God hepls even when your not feeling like asking for it!!

Good Morning! Just wanted to say thanks Jenny M. and Sarah K. for the beautiful cards I got in the mail two days ago! I will be working on making cards and getting them sent out by Friday. I have company in from out of tow starting Thursday so hopefully I can have most of them made by then! Watch your mail girls!
