I was excited last week too when I picked up some of the little incentive stamps for 50 cents each at a flea market! I ended up buying one of each, and still only spent $5!
Yes, you did get a good deal. I have never seen stamping stuff at garage sales in this area.
If I were selling items, which I am not, a garage sale would not be the medium I would use. The returns are terrible. Of course if you are the buyer, it is a great way to acquire lovely items cheap.
No one around here does that! If you find a pack of dried up old markers for 50 cents off the original price, you are lucky! Wish I was "saleing" with you this week!!!
