Easter timings for stores?

I'm planning to cross the border into US. Can somebody tell me which day the stores are closed? Friday or Sunday?
Also what coupons are available for Michaels, Jo-anns & AC Moore for this weekend?

Sunday, April 8th is when most stores will be closed.

You might run into some smaller, independent stores that are closed on Friday afternoon, but it really depends on what US town/city you'll be in, but most of the chain-type stores should be open.

A lot of stores will be closed on Sunday, but there will still be some stores open, depending on what they are.

The only coupon for Michael's I saw was the normal 40% off one item that's almost always in their ad.

Actually, I have been finding that many stores will be open on Sunday, in spite of it being Easter.

We got a Michaels coupon in Sunday's paper that is good for 50% off one regular price item on Friday morning (I think until 1:00 pm) one for 30% off entire order (again I think it is only good until 1:00 pm). There was also a 50% coupon that was only good yesterday and there is a 40% one that is good through Thursday. I'm at work and don't have the coupons here with me so I'm not positive about the times of the Friday and Saturday coupons, but I'm pretty sure they weren't for all day. Happy shopping!

Thumbs up for Saturday. You are guaranteed to find almost all stores open. The coupon for Michael's is 30% off your ENTIRE purchase of regular priced items. Sometimes they have what you want on sale so you can't use the coupon for that..but there is plenty to get!

AC Moores is having a two week sale and I don't know if you need any coupons for that.

JoAnns accepts competitor coupons so if you don't find what you want at Michaels, you can use it at JoAnns.

Chains should all be open on Friday. I find alot of stores are open on Easter, but maybe you could look up their number on internet and give them a call.

I would think all the big chains would be open on Sunday. The only days you can count on one being closed is Christmas and Thanksgiving.
