It is nice to hear ppl say they have found friends.
Not a best friend, but many of them. I have been privileged to meet and stamp and hang out with many SCSers and they all are dear to me.
Even the ones I have not met 'yet' are very important and special to me.
I have met several peeps from SCS. I got to meet 4 of them last year and hang out for 3 days at Disneyland, Shanon, Aubrey (MonTigg), Denier, and Marilyn (scrapqueen). That was a fantabulous time! Thanks Denier for opening your house and letting us crash there!!! You da best! I also drove an hour to meet Propecia at dunkin donuts! That was fun too! And I got to meet Kimber4m this past January. There are so many others that I want to meet, Linda (spicygingersnap), Cathy, Laurie and the Hays and Lily, Debi & Rachel & Lynn (hopefully this summer), Granny Hawkins, Phelps, Dorinda, RT and too many others that I know I will forget if I try to name them all. But you know who you are!!

People who think you can't make friends on-line are very mis-informed. I can't imagine life without my friends that I met on-line!!
Yep, I totally agree. Sometimes the friends you meet on line can be friends for a lifetime. I actually met my DH online...and we are a perfect match! (we didn't me here of course)...lol
I have made some awesome friends from being on SCS. Some I only correspond with, others we meet to stamp together regularily...another is actually trusting me with her life as we fly to California (she wants ME to drive) to attend SoCal Stampmania IV....so you can see that being here, sharing interests and life in general is a GOOD thing!
BEST friend......I've only got one real BEST friend (my bestest bud from HS in Scappoose) but I have a TON of new great and good friends that I've met through this site AND through Technique Junkies! I joked with my DH that if we ever needed to travel across country with our classic car that we wouldn't have to worry about parking in a safe garage because I had friends across the whole country now. My most recent friendships were made at the Snoheaux gathering last month. YLM and Jaydekay are a riot and dear to my heart!

About 6 months ago or more I was pretty new to SCS. I posted a question if there was anyone else from Michigan on the board and one gal who lived on the other side of the state PMd me and was so nice. We started up a friendship sending each other RAKs, emails, phone calls, etc. Well we finally got to meet in person this past Thursday when she drove 3+ hours to my home and we had the best time! We talked, went stamp shopping, stamped, talked, stamped, etc. until Friday afternoon when she had to return home. Before meeting her, I didn't have a friend that was into stamping as much as I. I am so grateful to SCS for bringing us together!

Are you talking Wyoming near Grand Rapids? I have a friend that lives up there and I too, have been looking for friends to stamp with. I live in Three Rivers but with my friend in GR I know it's about an hour away. We travel to see each other but she's an ocassional frustrated stamper. Why I don't know, when she does create, she is orginal. I, however, need inspiration to come up with anything original on my own.
