Very true! I didn't think about that. The first year I bid and didn't get it, I asked him why. His excuse was that they had used a photographer from in town the year before and had some complaints. So he thought it would be better to use someone from out of town. I thought that was a horrible excuse to not give me a try!
Makes no sense, really. They should be trying to give the contracts to local businesses who will support the league.
Now here is the really weird thing. The 2nd & 3rd year, he went back to the girl from in town that he had previously told me they had problems with. So there has to be something there. I'm just clueless as to what.
Hey ladies...just stoppin in. I just got off the phone with my friend...and I can't believe the terrible news. Our friend just lost her 4 month little boy to SIDS. I can't believe it...

Oh, I am so sorry to hear this news. My thoughts are prayers are with your friend and her family. And hugs, to you, too. I pray for comfort for you, as well.

The really bad part is that she was not getting along with her husband at all...I hope this can bring them together and not tear them apart. I am just so sad.
My plan is to scap a page for her....because I took pictures of her family at the hospital after he was born....What do you think?
Will the girls Jive or Tango?? Anyway, I do think Barbie is better than Leeza.
hmmm, I thought the girls were jiving and the guys were tango but maybe not. I don;'t think either of them are that great. nd your right about Clide getting the sports votes. He'll go after Barbie and Billy ray probably
We have a couple in our SS class that lost thier 6th grade daughter last September. Her mom was driving her around to neighbors selling stuff for their softball team. She had just sold to the neighbor and jumped off the porch to go back to the car. She was struck by lightening before she hit the ground. Madison's 12th birthday would have been this May.

Before you do, kindof see how she is dealing with it. Madison's mom is still having a very hard time. She doesn't go in her room or look at pics. I have several of Madison from Kid's Kamp last summer. I just ran across them this week. But I am holding on to them for when she gets to where she can look at them.

her mom is a nurse and she gave her CPR until the ambulance got there. She lingered on for a week at LeBonheur. It was horrible for our whole town. It really made me stop and think, Alex is about the same age. I can't imagine going through what she is going through. She still comes to church service. She has been to SS once but ended up leaving in the middle in tears. Everything is just very emotional for her.

you know what they need to continue with those plans. for their sons sake and for theirs too. I know it sounds weird but it would help i think/ and maybe mention to her that you are (or if possible have them done) and ler her know that you have some pages of the baby that you did for her and when ever she is ready to see them you are happy to give them to her.

Oh my heavens!! How absolutely tragic ..... and what a freak accident!
Oh man.. not a good night for you.. sending hugs girl
Thanks for the hugs....I wish I knew better how I could help her! I want to call her, but I also don't know if I should or not....I am so paranoid of saying the wrong thing or actually not doing enough for people when they really need me.
