Signing Up For RAK

Hi,

I signed up to get permission to join the RAK part of this site 3 days ago. I am still waiting for my request to be confirmed. I tried to send an e-mail to the person who handles this section but she does not accept e-mail. Does anyone know who I can contact for:confused: help?

i saw a thread going right now for someone who had a house fire and her friend is looking for RAK ...there's a idea for you also i have one going for my DD i will bump that so you can see if your interseted in that...I am getting a care package ready to go out for the fire vict. I can't imagine being without my stamping stuff

It was about 2 weeks before I received at return message. She said that she had just returned from a business trip or something to that effect. Since that confirmation it has been another two weeks and haven't seen the forum appear for me yet. It seems like a long process but since our mods our volunteers they have lives offline that they have to attend to. ;)

I think I waited close to 3 weeks. It says requests are processed bi-weekly - so about every 2 weeks. And I think she travels a bit with her job. Hopefully it won't take too long for ya! Happy stamping while you wait!

New applications for the RAK group are approved on a bimonthly basis because Gina travels out of the country for business a lot. There was just a new group added on 02-12, so it might be a while yet. My advice is to just start making some cards and getting ready, 'cause once you're approved you'll see there's lots to do over there! :mrgreen:
