Talking The Top 10 Stamping Related Products of 2006!

The Top 10 Most Exciting Stamp Related Products of 2006

10- Mono-multi- As stampers get frustrated with their mono-adhesived cards falling apart, Mono-multi glue pops on the scene. Not only does it work better than ANYTHING else, but it lasts forevah!

9- Unmounted Stamps with Cling Vinyl- "I'm going unmounted" has graced many a thread topic over 2006! Many have unmounted it all! Some have just dabbled in a few here and there but it seems that unmounted stamps are joining the ranks of popularity!

8- The Cricut- Even better if purchased with a coupon, this little machine is all the rage! Now available at Walmart at a great price! LOL!

7- Ultra Clean Stamp Cleaner- Do you have a stain on a stamp from 87 years ago? Ultra Clean will get it off! Even Stazon cleaner is NO match for this incredible cleaner!!

6- Chipboard Anything!- Everyone is using chipboard these days! Paint it, Stamp it, Emboss it! You gotta' have it!

5- The Big Shot- SCS's own JulieHRR single handedly raised the stock price at Ellison Corp. by giving her Big Shot a big hug every morning and then sharing her knowledge with us at SCS!

4- Prismacolor Pencils with Odoless Mineral Spirits/Gamsol- IS Gamsol the same as OMS? The debate goes on but which ever one you use, this vibrant coloring medium is all the rage! Just make sure you have the Tawain Stumps!

3- The Cuttlebug- Again, JulieHRR gives everyone cuttlebug-itis...need I say more?

2- Stamping Blogs and the SCS Blogspot- Yes, I have one, so do all the rest of you and we love to visit, share, comment and have fun! Thanks to Michelle Laycock, it's easier to keep the circle of fun and info going!

And the number one stamping related product of 2006 is...

1- Clever Lever Punches- Scallopped or Plain... we love 'em all!! If you are on a backorder list somewhere, you are not alone! These babies will be around for a long time to come so "punch it Margaret!", right in to 2007

Happy New Year!

Gina, that was so funny yet so frightening at the same time!! It was like you were inside my brain or something; how did you know I am ordering a BS because of JHRR and her cuttlebug cards?

Great list! You're right on target. I would rather not say how many of those top 10 I have purchased this year. :-)

Where can Ultra Clean Stamp Cleaner be purchased? I've heard of it before, but have never found where I can get it.

Thanks,

Check your local stamp/scrap store for Ultra Clean, too. Hero Arts is having Ultra Clean bottled for them under the Hero Arts brand as well.

I had the Bigshot before I read Julie's stuff but I actually started to "use" it because of her. Now, she's making me want all those cuttlebug embossing things too. Yeah, Mel, you are I are the same!
Two great minds, huh?

That's a great list. I'd add the crop-a-dile, but then, it's not my list, is it?

This list is just so right on!! Only thing missing was Sakura Stardust pens!

I think those little oval punches are going to make next year's must haves.

Here's a link to another source for the ultra cleaner. I bought from this ebay sight and the service was excellent.

Kind of mine, mostly all of yours!... actually, it comes from combing over the threads and finding what products we all said we couldn't live without. Some of those threads went on for, weeks, even months and some are still going on. So, even though it wasn't in any magazine, it could be! After all, we make up the population of stampers who buy the magazines too!

There's maybe like... 6 stampers who don't know about SCS. We'll get them here too.
Happy Stamping!

WOW!!!!

Holy Cow! I made the list????
with SCS Bloggers?

at Number 2???

And my list started as just a list of blogs so that only ***I*** could remember who had them!!! LOL!!!!

I'm so glad everyone is finding the list "all the rage!"

And I never would have expected blogs to "take off" like they did!

You guys are so funny! I should have made it a top twenty list! Yes, you are all right. All those other items should be on the list too! It's hard to narrow it down to just 10. Now I want all those other things too.

I've always bought mine in whatever store I happen to find it in, Michelle, but I know there are a number of online vendors. If you google it, it should turn up at a variety of places to choose from.

I know Stampington.com carries it.

It's made by Stewart Superior and a number of stamp manufacturers (like My Sentiments Exactly, etc.) also have it packaged for them under their own company name by Superior. I'm not exactly sure why, but there's probably some reason for it that just escapes me at the moment . . . LOL!

ok Julie. I'll check around for it. Thanks. My Staz-on cleaner is almost gone and I'll need something to replace it. If its as good as Gina says it is, I may as well get Ultra Clean instead.

It is hands down *THE* best stamp cleaner I have EVER encountered on the market. . . (THANK YOU, RICK!!!!!! )

Over the years I have tried *many* brands . . . The only other one that is as good as Ultra Clean, IMHO, would be JudiKins' Solvent/Permanent Ink Cleaner--but, the difference is that with JudiKins, you *really* need to be in a well-ventilated area when using it and it has been rather elusive to find; Ultra Clean is more readily available it seems. ;)

HTH!

Oh it is! It is! I love it! I have some SU huge butterflies that is used to make tile coasters. I used Stazon and never cleaned them the right way. That was, maybe....two years ago. They look like brand new and I mean brand new!!! I swear by it, and I try not to swear! (LOL)

Absolutely! And, if and when you find the stuff, don't just get one bottle; get at least two. ;)

BTW, this cleaner will stay moist/active a lot longer on your stamp scrub than other cleaners will--sometimes all I hafta do to reactivate it is mist with a little water. The stuff is truly AMAZING!

I've been trying to convince the folks at Stewart Superior that they really should come out with a refill *jug*. Bazillions of stampers would definitely buy it; once you have it, you *never*ever* wanna run out!

I second the Ultra Clean. Cleans the Stazon better than anything. I just squirt it on my scrubber and Julie is right, you can just mist to reactivate and it goes a LONG way. Also gets the ink off your hands! I love this stuff so much. I also got a Sharpie ink stain off my table and then quickly wiped the area with a baby wipe so the surface did not get damgaged--not that I have any evidence that it would damage anything. I agree that they need big refill bottles.

Oh my looking over that list I guess I have been in the same boat as most of you!!! LOL
I guess my goals for next year are:
Buy a Big Shot
and get some Ultra clean
Oh, and in my free time I should start a blog. (when will I have time to read all the fantastic ones I have been reading?)

Well, you could, OR, you could devote that time to actually STAMPING!

Had I known how much work and time it would take to maintain a blog, I seriously don't know that I ever would have started one . . . I say that a little TIC, but, there is a very strong element of truth to that . . . ;)
