I'd like to get together and stamp again, but during the day I work. So, a weekend, late afternoon, early evening, is better for me. Have you guys ever gotten together on a Friday afternoon before? Dana
Hello everyone. I dont know who of us has a cricut or doesnt but if you do and you want the Mickey and Friends cartridge for only 35 go to the Walmart on Powers. It is in the craft section on an end cap near the fake trees. They have about 4 left. They also have the Font cart for mickey too. Hope everyone has a great day.
Thought I'd just pop in and say "good morning"! Am sitting for two wonderful little boys (upline and good friend) and while the little one is napping, I wanted to post really quickly.
I did get in touch with MaryJane and she has the new catty...glad that I was able to help out.

Do any of you have your catty's yet and if so, do you have one to spare? I have a friend who's in town until next week and really, really wants one. I'm trying to help her out (she's also in town getting married!).

Ann, Mary Jane wanted a "hard copy" of the catty as she is from Chicago and wouldn't be around for her demo to get one to her. I had just rec'd mine and got one to her. She was a very happy camper!! :lol:
I would love to get together and stamp too girls. I know that we've had to cancel a couple of times. I would love to "host" and offer my home if that's okay with everyone. We can decide on day/time later on. Let me know what everyone thinks.

So nice of you to offer your home for everyone to gather. I'd love to but looks like maybe a evening or weekend evening are best for me if no one can meet during the day. I work weekends, and DH has some evening plans for late work nights and band that he may be joining. Let me know the set up and I'll try to join in.

I just wanted to let everyone know that we might have to postpone our get together until October. My DH's dad passed away early on Friday morning. DH is in FL right now but we will be having to fly to Rochester for a memorial service in Sept. Not sure when that will be yet...will have to let you all know. I still would like to host our gathering though...
I'm doing okay...decided not to go to FL as my back is in pretty bad shape. Am having another round of injections starting on Friday morning. Never a dull moment!!

I never miss a Rubber Stamp Convention in Colorado.. I've been to every Rocky Mountain Rubber Hi since 1976, and every Rubber Stamp Expo since they started here in the Springs.... I drove to the one in Ft Collins once.... before they had one here... too long of a drive.
I haven't gotten to meet anyone on this thread... seems there are alot of young moms that get together for play dates... my 'baby' just graduated High School! ha ha! I'd love to get together and stamp or scrapbook though, if anyone is interested. . . ...?
Joanne, sorry to hear about your father-in-law... I hope you two are doing okay!
Everyone going to the Expo... have fun and I'll be thinking of you while I'm slaving away at Michaels. :( So wish I was going... but have a great time and please share with me your new ideas and techniques picked up at the expo. ;)

You are sure to have a fantastic time. My first expo I took a wiggly (and busy 1 and a 1/2 year old in a stroller) BIG MISTAKE. I'm excited to have no one but fellow stampers with me this year!
Just taking my four year old and one year old to the grocery store is a BIG MISTAKE They are such busy kids. I might actually get to scrap when he starts school next week.

Joanna I would love to get together sometime. I met another really great army wife that scraps and stamps like I do and now I found out she is moving home to Missouri while our husbands are deployed.:( So making new friends to keep me busy with crafts will make his year away go by very fast.
I was wondering if my mom does get in town this friday night(they are driving here) is it ok if we meet you all saturday morning.

My friend's husband just got stationed at West Point so they moved to NY in July. I totally understand how hard it is to lose a good friend. Send me a PM with your schedule (didn't you say that your oldest has preschool?) and we can totally make this work.

Eileen, Deb, Heather and I met up. We had a great time together. Eileen and I agreed that the show was smaller than last year. There were some puzzling exhibits: one booth was selling BRAs!
