There used to be a little one at Seaport Village (called Stampdiego) right on the water by the Marriott hotel. Lots of cute shops at that Seaport Village. But its also been 6 years since I've been to San Diego.

San Diego is a huge area. You could travel from the south to the north, and it could take you an hour going all highway. Which part of SD are you visiting?

Oh, yeah, you'll have to excuse me as the city I live in only takes 20 minutes in any direction!
I am staying just 4 miles from the SD airport. I really don't want to travel too far as we will only be there 2 days. Thanks!

Stamp Diego is no longer in Seaport Village...bummer...I used to love going down there just for that store. They closed that location but their Rancho San Diego store is still open--lotsa stamps!!! It is inland a bit but I would think you wouldn't want to pass that store up.

Oh oh oh....just around the corner from Seaport Village...if you are going to Old Town (which is touristy) there is a little stamp shop there...should be fairly close to you. I sometimes go there when I am looking for unusual or hard to find stuff. It's little, but they have quite a few stamps. Nice place to go if you are visiting Old Town anyway. But I think Stamp Diego has it all--lots of new stuff (though not in a touristy place).

This one comes highly recommended, although I've yet to go there:

and this is the one Sue was referring to, and where I tend to go for my non SU things:
