Default Pallette Inks /TAC

Are the pallete inks put out by TAC or are they a product that they just happen to have. I really like them but was wondering if TAC is the only and place to purchase them for the best price.

They are not a TAC exclusive product. However, I do know that several places who were selling them have discontinued them in the past few months. I don't know of anyone selling them at a price lower than TAC, that doesn't mean they can't be found for less though.

Palette Hybrid Inks are manufacturered by Stewart Superior

Stewart also makes the reknowned Shadow Inks especially for Hero Arts, the Memories line of Inks, and now Palette Metallics, Memories Chalks, etc.

They are also famous for India Ink, a permanent black ink many use for watercoloring due to its non-bleeding performance.

No, Palette inks are not a *TAC* exclusive. They are manufactured by Stewart Superior and available at quite a few on line stores as well as scrapbook and paper craft stores.

I have used Palette inks long before I came into contact with TAC. They are very fine, fluid hybrid inks. Water proof, Gamsol proof and they do not fade in the sun light!

I recommend them highly!

TAC also carries the Palette inks in the little spot-size, which I much prefer! They are available in sets of 4, so you can test them before investing in the big pads. Being space-impaired, most of my ink pads are spots -- all my SU!, Colorbox cat's eyes, etc. I'm glad to see that the Brilliance line is now available in those cute little teardrop-shaped pads, too! End of hi-jack.

Happy trails....

Great information....I had never seen them anywhere but in the TAC catty! Then again, our local craft stores aren't the greatest around here and I totally don't online shop much! ;)

I checked the Stewart Superior website and went through the links they provide to buy the Palette inks online. Several of them no longer carry the Palette inks, but still carry other SS products. Just 4 Fun Crafts is clearancing them out at $4.00 each (they have a limited selection) as well as Frantic Stamper (4 colors left, qty's limited) All the other websites listed sell them at $6.00 each or more per pad, and shipping is higher than TAC's 10% or $4.05 (whichever is higher) based on my test order to get a realistic idea of shipping. Plus there are perks to ordering through any direct sale company that you don't necessarily have with another type of merchant.

Hope this is helpful
