Hi players, I wrote up a new guidline list and had Jenn do some tweaking for me. I hope this works well for everyone, we are trying to make this a fun place to be, I certianly enjoy posting each week and seeing all the creations
By the way...this weeks creations are fabulous and I'll get into that gallery to comment as soon as I can.

I think the 2 of you tweaked it very well and judging from the number of pages of cards made this sketch was very popular! Oh, and I think it is a very fun place to be alot, often, for hours, into the wee night, etc. etc.
I've never done one of the challeges before, but when Jami told me my card was one of the examples I got so excited... I had to come check it out! What an Honor!
Jami also told me it was a rule that if your card is chosen as an example... you had to participate in the challenge. ;)
Although I'm sure you weren't serious Jami... you got me to do a challenge. And it was fun!!!! I might even do one again next week!
I actually did this card a couple weeks ago. i just love the frogs... thanks for looking. there are sooo many beautiful cards in this gallery--what an inspiration!
I have a neighbor who lost her Mother to Breast Cancer last year. She just sent me an invite for the Breast Cancer walk. So, I was inspired to make her a card and try a new technique from my Technique Junkies newsletter.
This is caller Twinkling H2O resist. The Twinklers are very shimmery, and the technique makes the colors very vibrant and intense. I also got out my sewing machine for the zig-zag boarder.

You did this right and your kewords are all that's needed - no challenge galleries. Congrats on your first challenge submission!
It was exhausting reading parts of this thread. :( After all the PMs I have received lately concerning the LSC negativity, I was told to come here. I've been absent from the other challenges for awhile due to my DS having surgery and the start of a new school year. I am really disappointed in what's been going on. It's not just a challenge thing, it's most everywhere on this site. I do enough volunteer work on this site to know the negativity really is prevalent. And it wears on a hostess and organizer.
This is a volunteer site. We pay for some parts of the site, but most of it is free. It's a PRIVILEGE to have this site. The negative attitudes get really old... kind of like a whiny 3 year old. ;) You are not being discriminated against. A challenge is a challenge. A contest is a contest. It's a choice if you want to join. It's a privilege to participate. IT'S NOT A RIGHT!
If you follow the rules, then link it. If you have to tweak it so much that it doesn't really resemble the original challenge, then upload it to the gallery but don't link it. We want to see your work in the gallery. It's great to see what has inspired everyone. No one is telling you not to upload your cards to the gallery.
And following the sketch isn't a new thing. A little over a year ago, I tweaked a sketch and got called on the carpet for it in a comment. So, this is not new. Why it seems that way is because it happens a lot more frequently to the point people are wondering why we even bother with a sketch. (and LSC for that matter).
Sorry for the bad mood. I know that some people think I have endless patience, but I have my breaking point, too. And I think I reached it last night in the LSC. :???:
I hope all my cards are 'legal'. Made them on vacation in Cape Cod. AS you can see, I've been playing with my new 'Wild Rose' set! I seem to often default to 'wide open spaces' (I guess my layouts are a little boring ;-) ). However, I have added embellishments to a few, hope that doesn't prevent my space from being counted as 'wide open'. Thanks for looking:

I decided before I tried the current sketch challenge, I would go back post this card to last weeks challenge (Had a new grandbaby). Whoooopppeee!!!!!!! here it is...........my very first time to post to a sketch challenge ( I had already done the card and it just happened to be the same as the sketch). I am really looking forwad to doing something for this week's challenge..... It will be my first time to really come up with one from the sketch. A big thanks to Rox71 for all your great help with the instructions and pointing me in the right direction. I hope this is correct, if not please let me know!
If anyone has time I would love for you to see my card (I've only been doing cards for about 6 months now and would appreciate any suggestions any of you have......everyone here is just so creative!)
