Mine is pretty easy. my first name is Sharon so that is where the S comes from. my last name is Crown so there's that part of it. and DH and I were married on 8-3-01 so put it all together and what do ya got? scrown8301

I am having a great time reading this thread but I don't have a fun story to contribute. I was new to usernames when I joined SCS's and didn't know that I should come up with something unique and fun hence the boring ematson (Elizabeth Matson). Next time I'll know.

I chose mine because I am very active in our community theatre! I am NOT a real "drama queen" It is DRAMA like in acting/ theatre, not teenage angst. But theatre queen didn't sound right!!

My husband and I are very attached to our fur family. My avatar is Ice, our youngest. Sheba was our longest....as in how long we were blessed to have her in the family....15 years. She was an Australian Shephard mix who found us when she was just a tiny pup. We will have been without her for a year in October. Ice pretty much runs things now and she likes it that way!

I'm a Pampered Chef consultant & a Mama to 2 girls, thus Chef Mama. I like Pampered Stamper (THat's what I call our group of PC consultants who like to stamp), but I think someone else has that!

I'm a mom -- to two sons and one daughter -- and I have collected clowns for many years. In fact, I'm the only person I know who has a hot air balloon with a clown in the basket hanging in her living room, along with a clown on a trapeze across the room. Although, when I posted that explanation once before, someone said she had a hot air balloon/clown in HER living room, too! We must be soul sisters!

LOVE this thread! This is my second post! Love the site ....sick of lurking!
THis caught my eye because my daughter and her friends thought my screen name was silly untill I told them what it stood for!
My name is Rhonda (hate it lol!) My favorite Disney Character is Roo from the Winney the Pooh series. So I created Rhroo. I should have chose Rhondaroo.....but like I said I really do not like my name lol!! Well thats my two cents!

My name is Hope Angotti. When hubby and I were planning our wedding 4 years ago, I casually mentioned to him that I did not want to change my last name when we were married. I had had MY name for 38 years and wanted to keep it. He just looked at me and said "If you don't take my last name you will offend my father." At the time his dad was 77 years old and in failing health. I loved my FIL and did not want to offend him in any way ...
Fast forward two years into my marriage. My FIL and I are sitting in my gameroom watching a football game ... Hubby had run out to pick up pizza or something and I was keeping FIL company till hubby got back. So, we're just making small talk and somehow we got on the subject of how I was actually considering NOT taking his name upon marrying. I told him that I did not want to offend him (as my husband said I would) so I took the name. My FIL just looked at me and said "I can't believe you fell for that ... it's your decision what name you want to have for the rest of your life." Yep, you guessed it ... hubby played the "Don't offend Dad" card and I fell for it. So, for every message board I belong to, email, etc. I use MrsAngotti as a constant reminder to me of how gullible I can be!!!!
That's my story and I'm stickin' to it!!!

The mysteries of the universe are being answered in this thread...
My given name is Sue Nell, in my family both names were used... say it fast and it becomes Snell, my older sisters morphed it further to be Snelly and then snellybelle. (I won't acknowledge my cousins version...smelly belly)
I hated snellybelle for my first 40 years, but now it's kinda grown on me and I get some (not all) warm memories of my youth when I hear it.

Mine is an ename that we have used for years. 'lade' is part of our family name, 'r' is for me and my DH, 'm' is our DS and 'e' is for our DD.
Most other places I used 'artemisinks'. 'artemis' is for a goddess who shares my birthday, and who exemplifies what I hold dear, and 'inks' - well, that is self explanatory.

Whew! I sat and read through all of the posts and my tummy hurts from laughing! My original choice of user name was CBBEAR which my husband has called me for years, Cinnamon B. Bear, Cinnamon cause I'm brown skinned, B for Becki, and Bear cause in the morning I'm grouchy as a bear and the rest of the day I'm cuddly as a teddy bear. But SCS wouldn't take that name.
Soooo, my husband says use your other name. ???? (Which one? he has all kinds of names for me, my favorite being caca brown eyes.) The Queen of Everything! Since I didn't know you could capitalize or put spaces or periods it ended up queenoe.

Mine is boring also ... when we first got on aol MANY years ago, I couldn't think of a good screen name, so I used my first initial and last name - turns out someone already had that. And someone had vdoyle1, vdoyle2, vdoyle3, vdoyle4, vdoyle5, vdoyle6, vdoyle7 -- but vdoyle8 was a winner! I've used it ever since because I'm too simple to remember too many different screen names.

I wanted a name that said something about me, and it seems that we are always planning a beach trip or at the beach or recovering from a trip! Just this year we have been to Jamaica, Cape Hatterras, Newfoundland and are planning to go to St George Island Fl. next month. Even if the next beach vacation is months away, I know in my heart that I am always .....beachbound! :cool:

I probably could have / should have been more creative with my SCS name but I wanted to use something that I use for almost all my online sign-on names so I wouldn't forget what it was!
Mine is basically my last name and our house number.

I started stamping in 2004. When I first found SCS, I had no idea of what to use for a name so I chose my favorite color of ink. And it's still my favorite, even if it is retired.
