my guess, yes it should be same.
I think that it is just that the dd stamps are usually a bigger scale.
Easier to use on a bigger wall, YKWIM?
In 3+1/2 years I've never seen anything to say that they are another kind of special rubber.
I read a lot, even the boring company mumbo jumbo.
Just keep a wet rag handy and don't let the paint dry on the surface of the stamp.
That's the big hint I hear over and over.
and use a mini roller to apply paint and wipe image edges clean before stamping to avoid stray marks.
