Default Using paint on stamps

Does anyone know if it is ok to use water based craft paint on the rubber Stampin Up stamps that aren't labeled as definately decorative?

I really don't know. I will tell you that I stamped my daughter's wall with the Headline Alphabet and used acrylic paints (you know the little 98 cent ones) and it turned out great. I used a piece of felt on a plate as the stamp pad.

my guess, yes it should be same.
I think that it is just that the dd stamps are usually a bigger scale.
Easier to use on a bigger wall, YKWIM?
In 3+1/2 years I've never seen anything to say that they are another kind of special rubber.
I read a lot, even the boring company mumbo jumbo.
Just keep a wet rag handy and don't let the paint dry on the surface of the stamp.
That's the big hint I hear over and over.
and use a mini roller to apply paint and wipe image edges clean before stamping to avoid stray marks.

Anyone else know for sure or have a SU! link?

I've used them and they are fine. Sometimes they are a little hard to get off so I use a toothbrush!
