I have been in clubs - we always had 6 per club, met every other month and each spent a minimum of $25. Usually the person whose turn it was had a full blown workshop and ended up with lots of sales. Our demo always came and did a workshop. The hostess was responsible for providing the location and snacks. We also drew a name at the beginning to see who would get to be the hostess during Sellabration. A few of us, if it wasn't our turn for sellabration, had additional parties. Of course we alwasy spetn at leat $50 in the club to get the free set, but then we would have our own show to earn mega sets.
I like this idea better than paying $20 per month and then spending all $200 during your turn. If you do this, you only get to order from one mini. I would rather spend $25 every other month and buy as I go. That way I am always getting something new to use. If I could only spend $200 once a year - granted - it is a great haul, but I would rather get new things more consistently.
Lastly - I am new to this group and thought that some of the posts were very abrasive, very defensive. IMHO
