Search on your SCS name in the gallery

To see if you've been CASEd and given credit. I just searched on my name and nobody has CASEd me, but several people mention me in their RAK posts. So fun!

It's awesome, isn't it? I haven't had the HONOR of being CASE'd (except for case-ing myself...ahem ;) ), but if anyone wants to, go for it!!!!! ;)

I'm feeling very stupid...I can't get the search to work for me, it won't even bring up things in my own gallery. What am I doing wrong?

#1. I didn't know that did that!
#2. I searched my name and I have one cased card!
#3. I am very honored....not upset. It makes me feel good about the card I made that inspired someone else to make one similar.
#4. They totally look different, hers was just inspired by mine, that's a cool thing.

Thanks for posting this....didn't know that's what search did. To be honest, I hadn't even given it any thought!

Did you type your name in the little box under the little search.....or did you use the big search at the top of the page. I used the little search where you type your name in the box and it worked...I don't know why it didn't work for you.....

Mine didn't bring up my gallery at all or anything other than this one cased card where the person had given me the credit.

how cool is that?! I got CASED!!! I knew about 2 of them...they're friends of mine, but the others weren't...that's too cool...thanks for putting the suggestion out there!

Well, I CASEd the idea to search on my name from another thread in this forum. I guess I should have given credit for the original idea. Oops!

It might have been Fool4Scrapping's idea. If not, it was someone who posted very close to her on the third page of that thread.

That explains it.....No-one has cased me, which isn't a surprise! I would be flattered beyond all measure if someone did!

WOW! I found 4 cards that were CASE'd or inspired by cards I posted! I already was aware of Moberkitty's post of her Prismacolor chart that she put paper, marker and prisma on in the squares. Thanks to everyone who found something in my gallery inspiring!!!!

Now, I never cased your baby card...
But I made my daughters baby shower card in the same colors...
As well as her baby announcements...

just because nothing came up doesn't mean you haven't been CASEd - I know of at least 2 people that have CASEd this card of mine

they didn't give my name as a direct CASE but did mention the idea was not thier own...

I do that alot - I have word documents files of cards here at SCS that I keep at my craft table and I might find a great layout (something different from the norm) or a creative use of an item and do a card based on the layout or item use and I almost never know who the "orignal" person was...so I just say inspired by something I saw at SCS...

Thanks for the heads up. There were a few cards that I needed to comment on and had never seen. Searching your own username really helps. And it helped solve a mystery, today, of a comment from a stamper whom I had CASEd quite awhile ago. LOL!

OMG! I found one of mine! I never thought I would be cased. How cool is that?! I get so excited when I get comments on my cards, but this is even more exciting! I love (and need) validation on my cards, so I am very happy today.

I made this suggestion in another thread and look a whole new thread on it! :-D I just tried it fooling around this morning just to see what it brings up and then I found a card that I did that someone CASED so I mentioned it in the other thread now there is a new thread on it! What a fun idea! Never thought of it before. I did a searched and was thrilled to see I've been CASEd 4 times! I feel sooo honored and it was so fun to see the little tweaks and differences other stampers made to the fun I had playing with my stamps! Thanks for the ego boost!:-D

I'm sorry I couldn't remember who suggested the idea in the other thread. Everyone (so far) loves seeing that they were CASEd.

Fun! What a positive way to look at casing, thank you!!! I found that I have been cased 7 times...crazy!
That's why I loooove this site, I case so many things and I am happy to know that some are finding inspiration from me too.

When I searched, I found 4 pages of cards/lay-outs done BY you, but there were also several RAKs you had sent out and this:

I searched by 'jailbirdstamper' and well that doesn't work because I almost always put jailbirdstamper in my title of my cards..... I'm pretty sure no one has ever cased me though!
