for those of you that submit cards to magazines...do you typically post your cards on this site as well or do you withhold posting until you know whether your card has been accepted or not? Also, how do you attach all the requested info to the card? sticky, write directly on the back? Inquiring minds want to know! ;)
TIA
I'm not a submitter but if it were me, I'd wait until the deadline passed before posting a picture of my card anywhere. If it's not an issue of a deadline, I'm not sure how those things work.
So another question to submitters....if there's no deadline and you just randomly submit your creations, do they tell you if they are NOT going to publish you or only if they are? If they don't tell you that they aren't publishing the creation, how long do you wait before you would post a picture of your creation?
good questions Novell...I know that Take Ten only notifys you if you are being published (by postcard)...but that could take any amount of time depending on what issue they publish it in...other mags, I dont know...hopefully someone can share this info with us!!
I never post the cards I have submitted to contests until after the fact, if at all. And I create a word doc for the info and attach it either with my Xyron if it needs to be permanant on the card, or with repositionable tape if it doesn't.
(Stampington recycles all the card submissions to charities, so removable is best).
