OK, a little computer illiterate here and wondering if anyone could help me out. I am in the process of making birth announcements ( I'm due in September) and wanted to know if I could print the address and return addresses on the envies instead of handwriting them all. I am using the standard invitation size (4 3/8 by 5 3/4). I have Word 2000. Thanks in advance for any help you can offer
Yes, you can, I believe it's under Tools: Envelopes & Labels. It will also address them! If your envelope size isn't there, you can create a custom one.
You can also use the same place in word to create labels. Buy Avery labels from an office supply store. Then, in word, you can select the correct size of labels or a code you find on the box. I have all of our addresses in there and have also made sheets of return address labels. This might be easier than trying to fit the actual envelope into the printer.

Ditto! In our printer, each envelope has to be loaded individually. So, it is much easier to print out those label sheets.
I use word to print return and delivery addresses all the time, but I cannot configure it right for a standard size card, (1/4 sheet size). When I use the custom feature, and enter in the envelope size, it says that's too small to print correctly. I could do labels, but is there a way to print directly that I'm missing?
