it does have ruler measurements on it also that make "lining" things up nice. I am totally wheel challenged...usually it doesn't bother me to have thing MOPS...(messy on purpose) but the wheels bugged me...especially if I was using them as the main image on a card!

Thanks for the info Jennifer! I'm not a fan of the wheels b/c of being challenged w/them also. It sounds like this ruler will be a godsend.
There's an ad on the back of the new Memory Makers magazine special edition "Scrapbooking & Stamping" for the ColorBox Stamping Guide. I believe it's been discussed already that it's the same thing. Anyway, the ad shows how you can use sticky notes to make perfectly mitered corners.
It took a good 15-20 minutes trying to figure out how to get perfectly mitered corners like they showed. UNTIL we noticed that they show you how if you really look at the ad, and get past the pretty corners!
Also, surprise, surprise! The packaging on the SU! guide OPENS UP! And gives hints on how to use it.
I am sooooooo wheel impaired, and this tool is great. Perfect images. Straight lines. And, since the wheel butts up against the guide, there's no rocking & catching edges. It's a great tool!
Maybe I need to order more ink cartridges & wheels now!

I have the Colorbox version of this ruler and it, too, has complete instructions ... all you have to do is open up the insert that comes in the packaging. It is a very cool tool!!
I normally throw away the inserts/packaging! I was complaining about the lack of directions yesterday to my husband and he tells me, "There should be some instructions in there somewhere!" And there were. :oops:
I probably won't be selling very many of the wheel guides simply because I already showed all my customers how to use the side of their paper cutter for the same thing. They loved the idea and have been going wheel crazy.
Is there something special about the wheel guide that I could tell them (I don't want them to miss out on something) or is using the paper cutter pretty much the same?

I would think because it is clear would be a selling point, able to see your previous stamped image underneath, and maybe the rubber feet...just a thought
Oh yeah, the clear-ness is a good thing... but I thought it was a guide, by my definition... I thought that it had a hole inthe center that people (like kids) could put the wheel in and not go wrong period. :oops: :oops: :oops: I am so glad for this website! It has saved me so much embarassment! :lol: :lol: :lol:
Ok - after reading this thread I just went and ordered the Wheel guide too. I'm having a w/s on Dec 5th and we are using a wheel in one of the projects. Please tell me it was worth it for me to pay the $3.95 shipping. Oh, why didn't you guys start this thread when I placed my initial pre-order order. :oops:

The wheel guide...how is it different from a plain ol ruler?
