SBSC50 June 30, 2006
HERE IS THIS WEEK'S SKETCH!!! SBSC50 It is by BECKY HIGGINS and comes from the August 2005 Creating Keepsakes magazine page 62. Although it has SEVERAL example from pages 59-62. The GREEN spaces are for photos!!!!!!!
ENJOY!!!
All right... I loved this challenge (in fact this is FORCING me to do a page a week, which is good for me!). I just can't figure out how to post the link to my completed work. I know you can go to my gallery and see it there, but how to I get the kind of link that you just click on and go right to it????
Here goes my best shot! I can attach the thumbnail, but how do I do the highlighted text that you can click on? I think it is called a sticky post...

I don't know if anyone else has tried to help you, but I'll give it a shot.
1. at the bottom of this thread - click on box "Go Advanced"
2. it will bring up another box, put in whatever you want to say about the layout. and type in your link words.
3. open up another window to your layout
4. Right click on the http address and copy
5. come back to the advanced window and highlight the title, go to the little globe looking thing above this box and click on it, it will bring up a little box, right click on the space in the box and paste the http address to it, then click on OK
6 you can click on "preview Post at the bottom of the window to check the link, if it isn't working try it again, if it is, click on Submit Reply.
Let me know if you are still having problems, it took me more than one time to get it, so would be happy to help.
Favorite Grandma, you're so awesome. I had to print out the instructions, but I think I'll get it eventually. I joined a swap for a summer project which I already have done, but am not sure I like it enough to send... I made 7 thank you cards (all the same) this morning for my birthday that was 2 weeks ago... I can't believe I'm 40...
Anyway, I wonder how I can post my picture as part of my signature..... I'd love to do that... how do you ad a picture to your signature?

So glad I could help! Happy Belated Birthday!! 40 are you kidding - you're a youngster - LOL
Do you mean posting a picture under where it says SimpleChef and Glitter Queen? If this is what you are wanting to do, I can help you with that or at least the way I know how to do it.
1. At the very top of this page is a line that says Welcome, your sign in name, a little envelope --- click on the little envelope.
2. This will take you to where you get your PM's and other options.
3.. Look on the left side of the screen, click on Edit Avatar
4. click on Brouse, this will take you into your computer pictures scans or digitals, this is basically the same way you are loading your photos to your gallery.
5. Then click on Save Changes.
I think that's all the steps, it's been a couple weeks since I changed mine, so if you have problems, please post again and I will walk through it with you.
So glad you are scrapping and posting your pages. Have a great day.
I am wondering where I would post about an upcoming event that is open to the public. My church hosts a "scrapping friendzy". It's a 12 hour scrapbooking event and only cost $30. There's a scrapping store there and we'll have make & takes through out the day. We also serve a continental breakfast and a full dinner. How would I get the word out to the scrappers on scs?

I must be getting excited about convention!! I had some of these pics from a while back and I'm glad I got to scrap them!! I can't wait to go to convention this year!!
And to answer your question Simple Chef..in case someone hasn't answered it yet, if you go to the home page and click on "announcements" on the right side of the screen...that might be a good place to put that. Someone else may have a better idea, but that's a start anyway!?;)
