i am so lost...

Okay i am very new to the forum thing, but could there be a better site to learn on? i don't think so. I am confused about the times on things i clicked on a thread that said it was recent and when i got there it was from 2005. also i cant figure out how to put my pic over on the left side there, found a thread with the same question only no answer.. what am i doing wrong? any help would be soo appreciated. thanks

It was probably an older thread that someone recently replied to. Everytime someone replies to a thread, it kicks it back to the top. The original post may be long, but if you scroll through the entire thread, you'll probably see more recent stuff.

Look at the top right corner of your screen. It should say "Welcom, PhotoAddict". Click on that and it'll bring you to another screen. On that new screen, look at the left and hit "edit avatar". It'll show you how to add an avatar (your picture) there.
