DH and I share an office. Half of it it his and it's filled with computers. I see four right now.

The other half is mine. I have a computer on my desk and then the rest is stamping stuff. I said my space was adequate, but of course I would love more space!!

I have a section of the basement/playrom with a desk and shelves, but my DD is a sneaky one, so a bunch has been moved in boxes to be pulled out when needed for now.

" I have an area to stamp but it is lacking"

Temporarily lacking....my DH is making some changes to our basement and my craft area has been cut in half. It needed to be...the other half was just a dumping ground for my misc. crafts and my Girl Scout stuff. He kept my "counter" (hollow core door with contact paper) intact and there is a wall going up on one side, and a closet coming down on the other!

When it is all done, I'll have a 3-sided nook that will be a blank slate...wow! I've been looking in the gallery a lot to get ideas. In the meantime, I am still happy to have a table, a decent light and one (stuffed ) iris cart, lol.

My DH made me a stamp room in the basement...I took over the rec room...He installed cabinets, counter top (which he thought I wanted way to much of! Can you imagine having to much counter space!!! HA!!!!!), a pantry with pull out drawers for my stampin up sets and then we added Slat wall for my other stamps to display on acrylic shelves and for all my tools etc...I promise soon that I will post a picture of it all...it just rocks. The problem is I have to leave it to go to work...feed the family...clean the house...shop for stamps...etc, etc... Boohooo!

I had to go with "I have a large, wonderful room with lots of storage." Ok, it would be more wonderful it I would finally finish organzing stuff -- I just seem to keep getting sidetracked with projects! One entire wall is deep floor-to-ceiling shelves (shelves are still needing a bit of organizing). The next wall is store-in-style cubes and definitely the most "finished" area of my room -- I LOVE this storage system! The next wall is all windows with shelves underneath them and the 4th wall has a drawer unit and my punches hanging in their storage units. Ok, typing this makes me want to get in there and really finish it so I can truly enjoy it!

Right now I am in a spare bedroom temporarily...and as my collection grows I am hoping for a place that can be permanently arranged to accommodate everything and have some room for friends. Right now we have a room down in the basement started..the walls are framed is all...we need to run electric and put up sheet rock, etc. My plan is to make a large closet along the back wall...maybe run a counter and kitchen cabinets on one side...put in some book cases and other storage units. Then put in my table and chairs. If there is room I'll add a little loveseat (it was in grammy's basement) that I am working on. Brought some old fashioned french doors from my dear departed grammy's home and plan to incorporate them into the design of this room. My spot for now is adequate...

wow - I think you are describing our 'office/stamp room'!

Half his, full of computer stuff, and half mine, full of stamp and scrappin stuff.

Works well, just wish my desk was big enough for the stampin/scrampin AND the laptop all at once. As it is now, I have a second mini desk for the laptop, and will sometimes work on assembly of a card on the pullout keyboard and chat here at the same time.

None of the categories fit, so I haven't voted.

I have a wonderful area for storing all my stamping supplies. It's a large closet (I have about half of a 6x9 area) with lots of shelving. I've recently hung pegboard which really helped! But, I have no room to stamp. I carry what I need to the dining room table when I'm ready to work on a project.

I have a dedicated stamping room in our home in FL and an area in my bedroom at our home in NC. But, alas, I could only vote once. Both places are wonderful.

My hobby/obsession didn't really take off until I dedicated space in my home to my "stuff". Before I had things in boxes, in the closet, and it didn't work out at all. In order to feel it was worthwhile to drag everything out, I had to have a big block of time, and that just wasn't happening too often.

Now I have a dedicated space in my basement. I wish it were brighter and cheerier, but it is certainly adequate. There are windows that let some natural light in. My DH gave me two fantastic cabinets and various bins and shelves for storage. I keep a cork board handy for displaying pending projects and ideas I have in mind. There is a long table for spreading out the papers I am using, and I have a regular size kitchen-type table where I do most of my work.

As my children launch and move out (someday, not too soon) that will free up some space so that I can dedicate a complete room for stamping/scrapping. But until then, my basement space is fine.

I have a large stamp room with lots of storage, but I could always use more. The more stuff I accumulate the more room I need. I had to do a major thinning out this last weekend, as I was starting to loose stuff. Now it's ready for all the new stuff I will need to order on the 1st.

Right now my stuff is in boxes in one room and I pull it out to stamp.

When we move I get my own room- but not just for stamping- it will be my doll and sewing room too. It isn't huge, but it is a small bedroom, so who can complain.

I voted for "stamp room that is adequate." It works for me but I'd be thrilled with a larger room!

mine is adequate - although I know I should feel very lucky to have a room at all!!! It is plenty big enough (you can see pics in my gallery) but I just dont feel it is organized/set up to its full potential! I would like a bigger desk for instance and should hang some kind of storage on the walls...but...according to my dh if I need anything else to store stuff in, I have too much stuff!!! Which I do, I admit...I like to hoard! it doesnt help that I like to do other crafts too so in addition to all my stamp/scrap stuff I have even more in the way of general and kids crafts too...now if I could just find the time to work on it all, finish projects, I might find some extra organization space!!

I have a great stamp space. It's in our bedroom but I have a pantry, cabinets, 2 tables and just enough room to move around. It's better than anything we've had before, so it makes me happy. I do have some crafty things in boxes in my closet but it's mostly stuff that I don't use as much or future things "to be stamped".

I don't have an actual stamp room, but we do have a sitting area in our bedroom and it fits my craft table, an old tv stand and an iris cart in it. I also have a huge cabinet that is in there that I store a lot of my stuff in. I do wish it was a little bigger so that I could have room for some one to stamp with me. But I am very happy with what I have right now. I get a lot of me time in there.

Have the entire breakfast nook, we had to make a few adjustments so it matched the living area and kitchen but it works great now!

mine is good for now.lol my dh has the desk next to mine for his 2 pc's and i have a pc on mine, but dh got me a flat monitor (its older-but it works) so now i can pull up scs and stamp at the same time.. My desk also has overhead storage for my sets, and some embellishments- my ink pads are on my desk in a rack in the corner. I just pull the handy dandy iris cart out of the corner behind me and set to stampin. It's great!

Our 3rd bedroom is my stamp room. It's something like 9x10. It was my youngest's room but when we fixed up the lower level, the older ds moved there in a room, ds#2 took over his room and that left a room for me!!! I took off the closet doors (they were old anyways) and dh put up shelves so now I have easy access to all my stamps and accessories. Someday I will post pics of it.

No stamp room but a great stamp space. And hey isn't any space we can have to ourselves a great space!

Mine is a large desk in the laundry area of my basement. DH can't figure out why I am always down there but his clothes aren't getting clean!

I'd LOVE a stamp room! I have to drag everything to the kitchen table and then put it all away again so we can eat. :(

(Notice nobody checked the 'don't have enough stuff' option!!!? )

Mine is a reclaimed bedroom of my 35year old son who got himself a new mommy(wife) 6yrs ago, so I'm sure he won't be coming back. But I have a couple of sewing machines I have to keep set up (quilter, too), and my keyboard. Purposely got a laptop just so I could move it easily when I wanted to stamp, but have it close enough to CASE cards. But the closets now have shelves, which hold multitutes of stamp stuff and quilting stuff. I also have some carpentry skills so I built myself a papersorter that has 48 slots, is 4' tall out of pine. Wish I would have made more slots and made to fit 12'' paper instead of 8 1/2. Just wish I had more floor space for more tables. And the list goes on.................

Mine is "adequate" I suppose. I used to have the dining room (OK, it was a stamp room since you couldn't actually "dine" there because of all my stuff LOL) but I got tired of looking at it sitting out and the kids were always into it. So....I moved it to an area in our unfinished basement. I hung sheets to divide the section off and to "claim" it as my own (and the sheets are boundaries to keep the kids out). I threw down an old (and stained) carpet, threw up some lights and moved everything down there. It's not beautiful by any means but it more than does the trick. DH said he would probably get to finishing it off sooner than later now that he knows I am down there....goodness, if I had known that I would have moved down there sooner!!!!

I have WONDERFUL storage space in my laundry room which is adjacent to my kitchen. Everything is VERY organized. I just roll my Iris carts into the kitchen and stamp there as the kitchen has AWESOME light. I have an entire basement I could use, but the lighting is shall we say less than desirable!! It works grea for me....

I love my room and storage. It used to be the family room, but we had our basement finished and I moved in. It even has a fireplace. Love it.

My biggest problem is not so much the room as the mess! It's definitely my fault. Once I start stamping all he@@ breaks out. I should be cleaning now, not sitting at the computer.

I am very lucky. My husband built me two stamping rooms in our basement. One is my personal space with all the "goodies". I have lots of storage (although I believe you never have enough;) ). My second room is where I can have friends in too stamp with. Love my space!!

I have a stamping space in my living room........which works out great because then when hubby is watching tv...we can be in the same room together......and I get to share what I'm making all the time......he gets so tickled when I'm excited and say .....hey look at this ....or wow...this turned out great!!!
Lord willing.....someday I'll have my own stamp room..........someday!

Mine is adequate. We have two rooms built in the basement (only missing doors, so mine has a baby gate). I have one, and the other one is a playroom. I have a decent size room, just need more organization I guess, and some straightening up. But I can't complain at all! Plus, I have a computer in my stamping room networked to this one.

Right now I have an old computer desk (with lots of cubbies, etc) that I have in the den. So I have a space. I'm SO hoping after we move I can have a WHOLE ROOM and put cabinets, and counters, etc up! Keeping my fingers crossed!

My stamp room used to be the den. As my stamping collection grew it became my stamping space.
