well you all have inspired me to finally stop hoarding my primas!! I am going to make a NEW Mother's day card for mom ( even though I one I already made was very cool) If I'm gonna use my primas, I gonna give it to mom! LOL
Everyone's work is soooo nice, i especially liked the card from the target dollatr spot in the yellows and blues!!
The thing about challenges, is that sometimes you have to improvise. I don't have a single silk flower anywhere and dollar store is 60+ miles away, so I used silk ferns to create my card. My Fern Gulley creation

Well, I used "silk" flowers from Michael's, and this is what I came up with. I like how it turned out, but the picture is a tad fuzzy. I am going to try to do another flower card soon. They are so much fun! Gallery at Splitcoaststampers

Here is my entry. Thanks for the challenge. I bought sunflowers a few weeks ago at Michael's and have never used them. This gave me the little nudge I needed.
My 3 grandchildren, I love being a Grandma! My profile picture is a 5 generations picture with my granddaughter. I'm the one in the pink. lol (Back Right) Too fun.

Hello. My name is Garnet and I just murdered these little flowers. First I yanked them out of their cute little pots. Then I stripped off from their little stems. Then I folded their little heads in half and clothes-pinned them to the edge of a card.
I'm pretty sure if they could have, they would have called 911.
Finally got mine done this evening after my DGD's went home. I love them but I can't get anything stamped when they are here. Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
My 3rd card for this challenge. I forgot to add prima flowers and beads to my accessories that I used to make this card....love, love this week's challenge!

While making this card I thought of BadSherry. I could just see her in this hat, and the bling. I combined two challenges and had fun. The prima flowers are from a friend I found here on scs nancy12648. Thank you Nancy.
I'm away from home right now so maybe I can play on the weekend but it's too funny you posted this challenge... I just got my first jar of primas last weekend! My LSS only had a couple of colors so I went for the white and have been dying them with SU reinkers and an aqua painter.
For anyone interested they seem to do the best when you give them a light spritz of water then color them with the aquapainter dipped in the ink. I tried to varry the color on them to give them depth. Be careful not to press too hard or overly wet them or they sort of "deflate". Here was my very first prima use item. It's a Baby Can I posted last week. I thought you might like to see how they dye: Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
