Love to do this technique and use it a lot, but tonight I decided to come up with a prototype for a swap I signed up for. It's an any occasion card swap, and this is what I came up with. I really like it. I hope my fellow swappers do too. Any Occasion Card
What a fun technique..........it got me to thinking what waxed paper would look like and what foil would look like if you used them to stamp. I will upload those cards later when I finish them. This one's awaiting approval-Mon. p.m. Here's the link. Gallery at Splitcoaststampers

Man I have it bad:( I'm so addicted to the challenges I had to get one in before bed. I resisted all day and like any addiction I just had to do it
Thanks for another fun technique

I can't believe I have no saran wrap--parchment paper, foil, waxed paper, even freezer paper, but I am out of saran wrap! Guess I'll be going to the store tomorrow so I can play! Great job so far on all the cards--I just had to peek!;)
Beth, great challenge! This added just that little something extra to the background of my images, without being too noticeable. I wanted this card to be extra-special because it is for our neighbor's 12-yr. old neice who's dying of cancer.

How about the plastic wrap card stock comes in, plastic Target bag...sandwhich baggie, bread bag? Don't let not having saran wrap hold ya back. LOL
I did 2. I haven't done this before and I reallly like it. The second one I used the canvas stamp like jsbrook because I thought it was so cool. Thanks for the challenge
My 3 grandchildren, I love being a Grandma! My profile picture is a 5 generations picture with my granddaughter. I'm the one in the pink. lol (Back Right) Too fun.

I finally finished my Easter cards with the help of this challenge! It was perfect to give my last few cards some pizazz and help break me out of my slump! Here's a couple of my attempts, once they're approved: Gallery at Splitcoaststampers Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
Saran wrap background experiment
I had never tried saran wrap for a background. I stuck with one color, but will experiment further!
Thanks for looking and thanks for the challenge!
Hello everyone. I have not been able to do the challenges for a couple of weeks and I have missed them. I am late w/this one, but had to try this technique and I love it...so fast and easy. It was lots of fun... Gallery at Splitcoaststampers

these are candy treat "pouches" for my dd's girl scout and brownie troops...the bunnies are chocolate covered marshmallow...yumm...might have to get an extra package!!!!
the sky and grass (although you can't really see the grass!) are using the saran wrap technique...lots of fun and a cool effect!
Ok, my Daughter and I are finished. We combined TLC59 with CC57. These are the two cards we came up:
This is Rachel's: Saran Sympathy
This is mine: Grateful Spring Thanks
Love this technique. It was fun and easy to do.
If any of you have time to take a look at this and comment I would appreciate your ideas. I'm thinking about doing this for a swap, but I just can't seem to make up my mind today...does it need something else, should I just use plain white CS, would it be better on plain Lavendar Lace CS, is it just fine as is...should I scratch the whole thing and start over..LOL.
Thanks for your ideas.
Here is my crinkled saran wrap card combined with this weeks SC66. Another Easter card using Best Blossoms this time. A fun and easy card to make. Thanks for looking, Nancy

What an easy background these make. And you have so much texture and color options...you can either have it really dark or stamp off and have a light back ground..how fun!
