Lightbulb ARE YOU AWAKE? CAN YOU HELP ME? PLUUUUEASE!!!!

Okay here I am stamping late...when you are all alseep...and I am stuck!! What am I going to do? (tears, sniffles the works!!!)

On the slim chance that someone is up like me, and can help, here it goes...

I have a few Onsie tempates and they are soooo small when I print them. Like Barbie Doll Size small. LOL....Anyone have a LARGER or decent size ONSIE pattern? Or does anyone know how to resize a picture of a template off the internet?

Here are the links for the 2 I am trying to do.

http://www.houseofstirfry.com/chia/t...es/onesie.html

are you right clicking and save as? I would do that and then open them and size them. If you are still having problems let me know, I will resize them and email them to you. What size do you need them?

I have tried saving as from the 'file' menu, and right clicking. I have tried both with no success.
I just got a PM, and think I am getting an email with the templates. But of course if you have a template that you care to post here, it may end up helping others in the future Thanks for peeking in and lending your assistance!

you don't mention what size onesie template you need so here are some directions on how to make any size template. (I will assume you are working off Microsoft Windows. Windows automatically comes with a basic image editing program called Paint.):

1. right click on your template picture. choose "copy image"
2. open Paint program (hit Start button, go to All Programs, then Accessories, then Paint).
3. when Paint opens, hit CtrlV so your image opens into the program.
4. click on Image tab, then Stretch/Skew (or just hit CtrlW) and then change both Horizontal and Vertical to the same number if you like the dimensions to stay the same.

I hope these directions are clear. if you can't get it to work for you, PM me and I will send you some different sized templates.
good luck!

Oh thanks...sorry I meant to say that the size I am thinking of, would be 1/2 of an 8-1/2 X 11 folded in half to make the card. Folding it in half of course as that is what is needed to make the card.

If all else fails I will try what you said, but do it in Picture It! as I am sure it works the same way.

Thank You very much for your help

Default decorating....

I stamp with a small 'baby-ish' stamp in an all over pattern like on a 'real' onsie and then layer a saying on the front. "Welcome baby" "thank you for the baby gift"...whatever you are in need of...and then put the little tiny buttons on the botton and/or on the neck area. I also have cut a small 'bib' out of paper and put that on the front with popdots and that looks cute too. I usually use chalks to color in the images because it is a softer look, I think. HTH (someone else who is sleepless this am).

oh, I'm so glad it worked for you, Stamp_a_licious! I was going to check in on you tomorrow to see how it went. I can't imagine where you're typing from and if you're still stamping, it's 2am in PST where I am! now that the "hard part" is done you can move on to the fun.

Hey Skittles, what a great idea! I love the buttons thing..I actually just EB some brads to make them pink, and used them in the lower area for 'snaps'. Used paper as lace around the neck and arms, and buttons was just what I think I am missing...gimmie a few, and I will post it here and you can lemme know whatcha think...less of course you ditch us all for something silly like SLEEP LOLOL....

....sure hope i have tiny buttons...off I go

actually that was belle's decorating idea but I agree that it sounds supercute! I love using vellum and chalks for baby cards. the tiny buttons and snaps are just the extra touch that puts it over the top.

if you don't have tiny buttons, you can use a small circle punch and then punch 2 or 4 more small circles in the middle to make your own, attached with pop dots. maybe a little crystal effects/diamond glaze to make it shiny. that way they are sure to match and no scrambling for where they might be hiding.

oh sleep, perchance to dream...

Go figure...I would have to resize it to be smaller in order to put it in here. I can email it to you. I hope thats an okay thing to do...resize someones template, and then share it. I sure don't need the 'template police' at my house in the AM, after I FINALLY went to bed LOL
