Well here is the deal. I asked in my Michigan friends forum and someone there got her Nov/Dec issue same time I got my Oct issue. We are in the same state. It does not make sense to me.

My mom and one of my friends didn't get theirs either. Papercrafts extended their subscriptions a month. They just bought them in the stores. This was the Oct issue
Now I just renewed mine so I guess if you guys are getting Nov/Dec already then I should probably buy my isssue in the store. *sigh*
This won't help any of you....but---------I went looking for the Oct issue when this thread started,,,,wondering if i had received it----it wasn't on the living room pew ( where current issues of all my mags reside) but I found it in my craft room already flagged with post its--so it had to come early in September, and yesterday--Wednesday, my Nov/Dec came. Sure hope the rest of you receive all your issues quickly.

Wow, I've had my October issue for several weeks now. I just got my November/December issue yesterday. I'm in Cedar Park, TX (near Austin). I was afraid I wouldn't get the Nov/Dec issue because my last one came with a big note "LAST ISSUE," and I forgot to resubscribe.

Gee, after reading all this, I'm wondering if my Oct issue is waiting for me at home. We've been gone since the end of August, but I'm headed home (WA) tomorrow afternoon, guess what I'll be looking for when I get there
Julie, I just got mine yesterday and it says the same: October on the front and August/ September on the front! What is the deal? I am going to contact them.

Well, just called and she said technically the next issue isn't late.... that if I haven't received my Nov/Dec issue by the 22nd of this month, I can call back and they will send me an issue.
Weird.
Also she had no explanation of the edge binding info being different than the front date. She is checking into that.
No help here!

I waited so long for mine that I contacted papercrafts and they extended my subscription. Then a day later it appeared after I had bought one???
After being told that there were no additional copies available and my October issue had been sent out SEVERAL weeks ago, the October issue magically arrives yesterday! Of course, I see that the Nov/Dec issue is on the newstands.
Hello PC subscribers! I thought I would give you an update on your missing October issues. I've learned that our printer had a delay mailing the file that contains the attached Christmas subscription offers. And since our customer service doesn't keep too many replacement copies on hand, that's why many you heard they were "sold out". The good news is the problem has been resolved and the October issues are on their way to all subscribers! --Kelly Smith, Paper Crafts editor

Thank you Kelly! I'll be looking for mine in the mail.
... the October issue in the mail. Should I, too, be worried that everyone else is getting their November/December issue now? That one hasn't arrived yet! Frustrating that these issues sit on the newsstands for so long before we get our copies. You would think that there would be more consistency.
I was always under the impression that subscribers were to have their issues before the stores but lately that doesn't seem to be the case.
Also my mom was told her issue is late if she hasn't received it by the 9th of the month so like this month it'd be by the 9th for the Nov/Dec issue which sadly I had to buy because I don't think they got my renewal check in time.
Now my mom did get her issue so now has two copies of October.
got mine on Saturday finally - and the binding thing is that way on mine too :( kinda weird, but what isn't these days??
Now I guess I need to be watching for the Nov./Dec. issue - hopefully that one will come BEFORE the holidays and not during!
I just received my October issue this past Saturday. Since it was MIA, I went ahead and bought one at the store so now I have an extra copy. If you still haven't received your Subscription copy and would like to have my extra copy, I will gladly send it off to you. Just send me a PM.
To add to the frustration: the November Cardmaker is on the newstands but my sub hasn't arrived yet and some of the cover items look enticing.....What is it with the publishers????? Loyalty doesn't count I guess.....We could all just drop subscriptions and buy only the issues that grabbed us------

Aw crapola. I was missing my October issue also. I was lucky enough to find it still on the store shelves so I bought it. Guess what I got in the mail today? The October issue. Rats.
CK Media... guess Lisa Bearnson should take a break from peddling her wares at QVC and check on her other conglomerate spinoffs.
I FINALLY got my October issue today. Like others have pointed out, the front says October 2008, but the spine says Aug/Sept 2008. Hmmm? Was somebody important on vacation last month? Seems there were lots of errors with this issue. Just glad I got it and didn't waste money buying a copy.
I just received my Oct. issue just last Friday. Also says Aug/Sept on the spine (didn't think to look until I saw that here) I'm going to be contacting customer service, but if I don't get a satisfactory answer, I will not be renewing my subscription. It's kind of late to be getting Halloween ideas now.
Seriously, I no longer "get" Papercraft magazine. Can someone tell me what I am missing? Last week I checked out the Nov-Dec issue from the library. Went thru the entire magazine without dog earring a single page. I can remember in years past, I lived for the new monthly releases but with this wonderful site available to us, I'm not finding the magazine has anything to offer now.
Is it just me?
Judy
I have to agree with you Judy. I have a subscription to papercrafts as well as a few other crafting magazines. I think I'm just going to let them run out and not renew when the time comes. I'm finding SCS has a lot more to offer than the magazines do, doesn't require a lot of storage or waiting by the mailbox and is much cheaper too.
Got mine just yesterday (Oct 7). And mine says Aug/Sept too. Now I n eed to go look at the website and see if I even got the Aug/Sept issue! Hmmm - I may not renew this subscription! :-) Sounds like a lot of issues.

I'm with you on that to an extent. There are some issues that very little even appeals to me but, since I've already paid for it, I would like to get my issues!
