I had the same problem, but I've also had that problem on Addicted. Wonder if it is the web designer's prob???
If you go out of what you are looking at and go back from scratch, it usually works.
At today's 48% off if a customer orders $50 in product our entire profit is $1. That must include our costs of ordering, stocking, picking and packing...plus the cost of packaging materials. As you can see, at these discounts there is ZERO profit in an order.
We have limited the quantities to ONE of each item. The reason is that many of our prices are below dealer cost, and we don't want dealers to simply buy out all of our inventory. We want it to be available to retail customers. We're sorry for the inconvenience and hope that our customers will understand that we are trying to protect them. When the Price War ends we will probably go back to allowing multiple quantities of an item.
One more note for shoppers: We have effectively suspended all international shipments during this sale. The paperwork for international shipments is tremendous, and at these prices we just don't have the time. We can't actually turn off international orders, but we have added a message that frugalities.com isn't a cost-effective solution for international customers. If people ask that is the reason.
We also get asked a lot how long the Price War will continue. Answer: It's a secret. It may end tomorrow, or it may continue for a month. But every day the discounts change. Today, at 48% is one of the better discount days. Tomorrow it will be different, and the next day will be different again. It's all pre-programmed into the system and changes automatically at midnight (Pacific Time.)
As with a true Price War, we're not making much profit. These prices won't sustain ANY company. But it's a classic Price War and while it lasts it's simply the best prices available anywhere! Enjoy! And, thanks for sharing with your friends.

This site rocks! Thank you soooo much for posting this. Now I can get all of the circle punches that I wanted to get from SU but for at least half the price. This site is definitely going into my favorites!
There has been a lot of mention about Frugalities.com on this forum and we're being rather flooded with the same questions. So here are some answers in the hopes that many want to know but haven't asked:
Q: How can it be so cheap?
A: It's a Price War. It won't last forever!
Q: How fast is the shipping?
A: Normally, orders will ship out within a week, or sometimes up to two weeks. We can be so cheap because we buy surplus time from the warehouse and we must wait for that time to be available. Premium (faster) shipping is available for just $2.99 more.
Q: Why can't I buy more than ONE of an item?
A: Our prices are below some dealer's costs. We don't want dealers to buy us out; we want to keep our inventory for retail customers. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Q: Why is international shipping so high?
A: Frugalities isn't a cost effective solution for international customers. The extensive paperwork and manifesting just can't be done during our Price War. We are sorry. APO addresses require the same extensive paperwork, so they are also not cost effective.
Q: Why does shipping seem high?
A: Our shipping charges are exactly the same as other sites for the same items. It only seems high because you are getting such a great deal...which makes the percentage that shipping charges are seem high. Remember that just because the items are as much as 49% off retail, the weights of the items don't drop by 49%.
Q: Is Frugalities.com related to Addicted To Rubber Stamps (ATRS)?
A: Yes and no. We're owned by the same parent company. But we compete against ATRS. We share some staff, but we dance to our own drummer. We actually buy surplus labor from the warehouse, when they are overstaffed and have extra time available. That's how we get the cheap fulfillment. We're limited to the top-selling items that are closer to the front of the warehouse and are easier to pick. And, we don't have an expensive toll-free phone number to call. We're friendly, but definitely competition!
Q: How long will the Price War last?
A: Until it ends :)
Q: Why are items I saw yesterday not available today?
A: Our inventory changes daily, depending upon what we can get good deals on and what we think will sell best. We have to be very selective.
Q: Can I return things that I buy and decide I don't want?
A: Yes. See the Satisfaction Guarantee posted on our web site.
Q: Since the prices change daily, can I get the better price if it goes down tomorrow?
A: The price you get is the one in effect on the day that you place your order. You can choose to lock in today's price or can wait for another day.
I hope these answers are welcome here. They are the questions we are seeing most often on our support lines. (I've probably answered each of these a dozen or more times today.)
Enjoy the Price War.

Thanks so much for posting answers frugality team. I placed my order today and got everything I wanted.
Keep up the great work. I hope you can keep up with all of us crazy girls.
Hmmm... so 49% is the biggest? Congrats to those who caught on two days ago! It's down to 42%. I feel a little guilty about sneaking an order in yesterday- but it was a pretty good deal. I saved $20 over what it would have cost me elsewhere.
I've got stuff in my cart, but I think I'll wait til the discount goes back up. I don't buy lottery tickets, so this is my big gamble!

I say look at it as a game and enjoy it!
So for the record you peeps are horrible (wonderful) enablers! I wasn't gonna get anything because navagating the site was freaking me out but I read about the punches and had to look!
They had all these circles I feel I need lately! So I did order and here's what I'm getting:
Punch, Circle, 1/2"
Punch, Circle, Extra Jumbo, 1-1/2"
Punch, Circle, Jumbo, 3/4"
Punch, Circle, Jumbo, 1"
Stickers, Die-Cut, Runway Black Alphabet
Paper, 6"x6" Lilly Pad, By the Sea, 36 sheets
Clear Stamps, Loves Me, Loves Me Not Set, Small
Clear Stamps, Loves Me, Loves Me Not Set, Large
Stickers, Cardstock, Storytime Collection, 1 sheet
Journaling Cards, Storytime Collection, 1 sheet
All that came to $60 including shipping. So that's a bargain, I was gonna get at least 2 of those punches from SU which would have been like $20 right? Then those stamp sets I can only get in town at the big LSS and they are $22 and $12 and I only am paying $10 and $6 here... so I'm happy.
Also it will be interesting to see how this arrives, I have 4 heavy clunky punches and then cardstock stickers and punch out sheets, and a pack of paper and two clear stamp sets so I hope they pack it so my punches don't kill everything else! I'll come backhere and tell ya.

I know that this company is connected to Addicted to Rubber Stamp, but is there anyone that has bought from this company previously? If so, how is their reliablility and service? Just curious. When deals are this good, I get a little concerned.

If they share the same warehouse staff and space as Addicted, they'll likely pack as Addicted does. And they do the best pack job of anyone I've ever seen.
Although this is fantastic for our south of the border friends, it is yet another huge disappointment for us Canadians and other internationals. *sigh*

Glad I ordered yesterday and got the 48% discount! And I am thrilled that I paid the extra $2.99 for expedited shipping if in their own email they state that it could take up to two weeks to ship.
I just placed an order for about $20 and the shipping to NJ was $7.95...very reasonable seeing three of the four things I bought aren't sold anywhere around here and I would have to buy online anyway. Thanks to the original poster for the tip!
Wenchie you got that right..it's always nice to see..the American on-line stores that ARE Canadian friendly..and there are a lot of them.
I have even gotten e-mails that even give me a lower price than what was quoted on the site..how's that for friendly? so of course these sites get a lot of my business.
There were quite a few things i would have liked to get from here..the cropodile, stamps, etc..alas.. that is not to be..(sorry for the hi-jack)
loves ya

Log in again. Look at the bottom of the page and it will tell you your account number. Maybe you can send them an email along with your account number to see if they received your order??

I really wanted to place an order- but $8.95 to ship a $30 order to Iowa- um, why bother offering low prices if you're going to jack the shipping up so high? That's just hiding the product price!
Well, I got the empty brush markers over the weekend (To make "In-Color" markers) for $2.50 and Paid $6.95 for shipping. It was worth it for 6 empty brush markers!

YEs. When the discount is big, you can only order one of a thing. Sometimes the discount is smaller and you can order more. (that is what the company reported to someone on another thread)

I just placed a $30.00 order. They had some Clever Lever punches got the Mega Scalloped Oval to go with my Giga. Ordered lots of stickles. I'll be checking this site frequently.
I placed an order Saturday morning, got a confirmation email but does anyone know how quickly they ship? ATRS usually ships pretty quickly, was thinking they would too if they are connected to them.

I've never heard of these! How much ink? Do you put water in or just ink? Do they have a fine tip too?
I can't believe I just put in an order, too - got a marvy giga scalloped oval punch (woo hoo!), some brilliance dew drops, versamagic dew drops, microbeads, sponge daubers, perfect printing pouch, and some primas (my very first ones!). I was hoping to save money for the new catty, but these prices were hard to resist!
I bought stickles because everyone uses them. What do you use them for?
I love stickles- they are a very fine glitter glue and you can use them to add accents to cards and crafts. I love them as center of flowers, noses on snowmen, accent to clouds in the sky. I recently made a flower card with an outlines stamp and went stickles crazy on it. The card got more comments than I've ever recieved in a day! Stickles are fantastic.
OOOH...the discount is 49% for today...procrastinators alert.
Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrreat. Ha! I just placed another $40+ order. Can't beat that discount with a stick. Even though shipping was $9.95, when I think about about... I bet actual shipping might be even more because of the punches. (Four clever lever punches, MM instant eyelet setter, and the MM slot punch tool that works with the setter.)

It looks like shipping is based on the amount... I had $72 in my cart and it charged me $19.95... but when I removed a couple of items to get below $70, the shipping dropped to $14.95. I'd venture to guess that below $50 is $9.95 and below $25 is a percentage, based on what others have reported.. so shop carefully!!! That extra $2 would have cost me an extra $5.
