HELP!! Every time I have tried this technique, the white crayon smears the black?? I have even used Black Stazon!!
WHAT AM I DOING WRONG??
If you are using glossy cardstock, the ink takes longer to dry than on regular cardstock. Give it a few minutes to dry, or try heat setting like previously suggested. Also, with crayon resist, the idea is often to use the crayon NEXT to but not ON the stamped lines. I hope this helps!
I like this technique. White crayons do have a purpose!
The weather has turned cold here, so it feels more like fall than spring, which may be why I picked autumn colors for my card. Here is my card, Leaves Resist

Oh my gosh! I'm so flattered to be featured for this challenge.
Now I have to come up with an even better one for the challenge today! What to do...what to do.....hmmmmm. Think my creative juices are all dried up from VSN!

And I absolutely love the idea of using candles. Should be able to buy a whole pack of white. If I can even find any, the white crayons always get dirty in the crayon bucket and you have to clean them off to use them  . And since my kids are college age, I don't need to buy new crayons every year for school.
These are EXACTLY the reasons I use candles! Plus, you can get a whole box CHEAP if you're doing a workshop so you have one for every person. I have never used white crayons since I discovered using the candles!

I'm hoping to get the chance to play later. Now I just have to find the crayons - not sure exactly where I put them after the puppy got into them. Yep, we've got a 10 month old black lab who loves to eat everything!
So I have never done any of the SCS challenges before, I have just signed up! WooHoo! I am excited to start taking on the challenges! I won't get around to posting until later on this evening. Looks like fun!
Definitely do the challenge, but be warned, THEY'RE ADDICTIVE!!
