How do you make a card like this? What do I need to make it? I'm a new card maker. I love this site because I get great new ideas....but sometimes I need help. Thanks!
I am a time thief and stole another hour to make a card for this week's sketch challenge. Thanks for the challenge. It was a fun and easy. I used my Coluzzle cutting system to cut the inside layering squares and used my corner rounder for the 5x5 base. Until next week....Rubber Hugs.
so i have a silly question...i feel lame for asking but...is this a 5x5 single piece of cs for the back square or is it a folded card....i undersand how the folded piece works on the front...sorry, i just have to ask!!

Well, I decided to check out this week's sketch challenge when I got into a mental road block trying to come up with a Good Luck/St. Pat's Day card. This is my card . . . the sketch challenge saved me! lol!
It took me a while to figure out how to make this card...But I'm happy with how it turned out. Thanks so much for the inspiration! I combined it with the color challenge too.
Wow, this was a very challenging challenge - had to do a lot of finagling to get the slot lined up right, but I think I got it!! Also combined with CC53 (pending at 11:25pm EST)
I cut the size down because I didn't have a larger envelope. After making it I reaslized I needed the size so the slit wouldn't tear. When I finally send it out I hope the receiver is gentle! LOL Still pending at 10 am EST
Just uploaded two cards for this challenge which are the best work I have ever done (IMHO). Took a long time but I am so happy with how they turned out. This card shape & closure idea reminded me of a wooden crate, so I attempted a faux wood crate (would have been a lot easier if I had the Weathered BG). Farm Fresh just lent itself to the whole theme.
Thanks to everyone (Daven, moderators, card sketchers-especially AndreaSophie) who puts together these challenges to help people like me with getting the creative juices flowing.

Couldn't resist giving this a try. Needed to do some Easter cards and this was such a neat idea. Thanks Rox for all your suggestions--do you see your influence?!!

Well, I finally got around to working on this sketch. I kept putting it off because I just wasn't quite sure how to proceed. But tonight, I just made myself get in my stampin room and give it a try. I hope I did it correctly.
I didn't scan the card behind the outside card, but I did describe what I placed inside the flap part. I hope I did it correctly, but even if I didn't, it still works for me. Thanks for this challenge Beth...it took me awhile, but I finally got my brain in gear and got it done.
Here is the card:
