Well....it's 4:10 a.m. and I am at WORK! :( I am on the downslide of it all now, I will be off at 7:00 a.m. It's been "one of those nights"---had a fatality car accident tonight, just after I came to work, so we are finishing up all of that and I needed a breather for a minute and thought I would log on to SCS to take my mind to other things for a bit!! ;)
Well, it is 6:13 am and I have been trying to work on two scrapbooks that I want to take to some friend house over the weekend. I will no "finish" the books but want to have my journaling done on what I have finished to date. One is my sons wedding that took place in June in our back yard and the 2nd is a Memory book in honor of my father who passed to a better place in May.
Last year was not good to our family, except the wonderful wedding. I am in hopes this will be a better year.
Today is also my birthday so I don't plan on doing much housework, just playing in my stamp room and maybe getting my hair done.
It's 7:47am here in PA and I'm at work doing my daily SCS sweep before I start my day.
I'm also not concentrating on work because my husband and I are going on a CRUISE on Sunday!! We fly to Miami on Saturday and the ship sails on Sunday! I have been looking forward to this for a long time!
It's 8:47am here in upstate NY. Two kids have been sent off to school, the third woke up with yet another nasty cough. I am procrastinating big time! I have a gazillion things to do today and I have to get moving, hop in the shower (but it is so cold in here this am that I am dreading it...plus I have nothing to wear...) Then it's off to PT for my arm and then to the mall to get new wrestling shoes, sweats and gear (my little guys have their first practice of the season tonight, my 5 yr old's first time wrestling, my 7 yr old's second year-they look so darn cute in singlets!!) And, it's my daughter's guitar lesson day so it is chock full of running around!!! I am determinined to get some stamping in today though, I haven't had much of a chance to do it lately and I notice a significant change in my disposition!! LOL

I have some polyshrink that is pre-sanded... It's called ShrinkyDinks Frosted Ruff n' Ready. Works like a charm for me.
Also, DO NOT PUT POLYSHRINK IN YOUR PRINTER unless it is the kind that is made for the printer. Printers are very warm and it you will end up with melted polyshrink in your printer!
Mine is an inkjet so assuming the ink stuck it would be ok. I think I posted earlier about the schmuck that I use to work with putting an inkjet transparency in the 50 billion degree mega copy machine. MESSY
RT- where did you get the frosted ruff n' ready?

I am glad this thread has been so cool. It is great to know what you guys are doing. But I am hijacking my own thread...DH comes in catches me on SCS, tries to kiss me, i give him a cheek sorta turn lips only kiss so as not to miss what I am reading, get this ladies he backs away and says "oh no way, are those ladies on SCS more important than I am?" Can you imagine this? I look at him with that deer in the headlight look and say, "No honey of course not." he snorts and uses on of the lines we pick on the kids with. "Liars go to hell." Then he grinned and walked off. HUMPH
The line we use on the kids sounds harsh but it is a running joke in our house. Too funny. So for hijacking, what is your hubby saying about what you are doing??????????
Forgot whose it was but lady with the avatar with the most wonderful belly picture I have ever seen. WOW is that your tummy? I loved the pic. My BF had her baby yesterday and I held her for so long tonight. AWWWWWWWWW

Yes, it's been quite a game, after that punt return got screwed up, it's like nothing is going right.
Lucky me, I don't care who wins this one. (My team is Georgia Tech, not exactly a football powerhouse these days - although Heisman himself coached there once!)
I wonder if ABC will have to refund money based on lousy ratings.....

Wouldn't that be great. If my team can't be in the game than I just have to root for the Pac-10. I'm following the game on the interent since I don't own a tv.
Right now my dh, dd, and ds are all playing with Legos here in the living room. My ds got his first set of the small ones for his birthday and my dh is having a great time even though he is complaing he needs more pieces. Go figure.
It's about 12:30 am, and I've had Leno on in the background while I finally finish reading this long "Lois and Clark" fanfic I found (at about 100 pages in Microsoft Word, it's considered novel-length). Figure in a bit I'll do some work gathering info for the research binder I have to put together for my decorative arts class. It's worth a third of the final grade, but I'm not worried since I've done two of them for history classes with this professor in the past and earned an 'A' each time. I just have to do a few extra pages for each topic since I'm the only grad student in the class. It's actually a lot like scrapbooking when I think about it! Gillian actually kept the one I did for her last spring to put in the school archives, but said I could get it back if I really wanted it. Hope it's not to late to ask her for it!

It is 1:00 am and I am just home from work. I work 3-11:30 in a transistional nursery in Oh. I thought I would just take a quick peek and see what was going on here in the SCS world. My dh is working on his computer and laughed as I read the previous thread about loving split coast more than her dh. lol
Hmmm..... maybe we should use that line on our kids.... liars go to hell. Love it. Anyway eyes are drooping .... going to bed .... was nice to view the world in a day through the eyes of fellow obsessing stampers.
I am unwinding from my Friday and Saturday night clubs - surfing the net and looking at all your creative stuff! You girls rock! And Lisa - you rock too! My husband said you were "cool" tongiht!
