Our total is 14 + 1 sample. You will be making a total of 15 projects. The sample will be judged in our Best Project contest.
Don't forget your nametags. I can't wait to see the creativity.
We're having a Shoebox Swap in West KY.

COST: $10 per person. Must pre-pay (can pay w/CC over the phone or come by the store)
Deadline: Must sign up by May 24.

RULES FOR SHOEBOX SWAP:
� Projects can be a full card, scrapbook page, ATC, mini-books, 3-D item, etc. Projects should take no longer than 10-15 minutes to make.
� Please use quality cardstock (Bazzill, SU, etc.) and products. Project should have at least two layers and an embellishment.
� Make sure to bring enough supplies for each person to make or take your project (an exact number will be given after the deadline date but will be no more than 25).
� Bring everything needed for the project. This means bring the stamps, ink, embellishments, hole punchers, cutting tools, scrub pad and mist, etc. Please label your items with your name or initials. Each person should bring their own basic adhesive & scissors to use at the different stations.
� Pre-cut as much as possible and put all of the ingredients into individual baggies. It helps to have one baggie per person so that if we run out of time, we can grab the bag and assemble it at home. It helps if you have the directions on a sheet as a guide. In case you can't finish the project at the event, it would be nice if you could include your name and your email address or blog address in with each baggie so that others have your contact information if they have a question when they get home about how to complete the card.
� Make a sample for your station and put your name with it so we know who designed each card as we move around the room.
� Bring your best ideas and work!!
Door Prizes: Each person should bring one $5-$8 door prize. It can be scrapbooking or paper crafting supplies, something homemade (altered journal, etc). Just think of something you would like to get as a door prize. If you choose not to bring a door prize, you do not have to participate in the door prize portion.
Food: We will order pizza and just split the cost amongst each person. There will be water and 2-liters provided for the meal. If you are an avid drinker, you may want to bring your own. There will be a way to keep them cold. If you want to bring snacks to share, feel free to do so!
Name Tags & Best in Show: We will have a name tag contest. Name tags do not have any restrictions; be as creative as you wish. This project has absolutely no limitations - this is your time to show us your style and skills. The name tags will be judged and prizes will be given for the two best tags! We will also have a Best in Show prize for the top two projects of the day.

I finally worked on a card last night. I liked it. So mine are cut and ready.

Hey gals! Sorry to see that I have missed this one! The move went well...we are still in a hotel til Monday when we move into our house. Guess it's time to find some Ga gals to hang out with :(
Thanks Tonya and Shanna the swap was great....Nice to see Tracy and the others! And to meet the new ones. We had a blast! Oh did I tell you I won the card contest? I did ! My name tag did not win, but I don't know why....It was really big. Oh well maybe next time..
Whew! I'm finally able to get to the computer. I was REALLY tired when I got home from the swap -- so I went to bed pretty early (8pm). And DH was on the puter all afternoon today. I told him that I got the puter after church tonight. (He's on the laptop now...)
Anyway. I just wanted to thank all you ladies for coming to the swap. I had a great time! And the projects were AWESOME. All of them.
Congrats to Tammy and Tracy for 1st & 2nd for Best of Show, and Dusty and ??? (I don't remember who got 2nd. I think she was from Cadiz) for Best Nametag.
I definitely want to do it again. Probably after convention though. The next couple of months are going to be hectic. Maybe we can do a New Johnsonville swap next. Or Nashville.... I'm not too picky. There is one in Memphis on Oct. 4th. Check this thread for info.

Yeah Holly it is suppsoed to be this Sunday. I was not thinking it was the 2nd Sunday. Pam has a purse thing Sunday... what to do???? May have it during the week.
