Scallop Turkey Instructions
Materials needed:
1 sheet Close to Cocoa
1 sheet Summer Sun
1 sheet Ruby Red
1 sheet Pumpkin Pie
Scallop punch
3/4'" circle punch
Horizontal slot punch
Paper snips
Crystal effects or hot glue gun
Black marker
Snail
First use your scallop punch to punch out 4 close to cocoa scallops and 2 summer sun scallops. Fold the scallops in half making sure to line up the edges.
Then use your snail or crystal effects to adhere the cocoa ones together. I put it on just along the folded edge. For the summer sun scallops, I put the snail ON the folded edge and stuck it inside the fold of the cocoa on either side.
For the tail feathers, I punched a of a scallop of summer sun, then I did a little smaller than that in ruby red and then again in pumpkin pie. Then used snail to layer them on each other. I then used hot glue to put the tail on the body. (Crystal effects works, I just didn’t have time to wait for it to dry).
I used the " circle of close to cocoa for the head and the black maker for eyes. The beak is a corner cut off the summer sun CS and the little red gobbler thing, is a horizontal slot punch of ruby red.
Then use either crystal effects or hot glue gun to affix head. And you’re done.

Very cute----I think my kids and i have a project to do this weekend! my youngest DS's bday is Tuesday and these will be great for his class and for the family! Thanks for sharing!
So creative! This will be on our list to do on Wed. My 10 year old daughter will be off school so this will keep her busy for at least 30 minutes-as for the rest of the day ................. I wouldn't miss the time together for anything and doing something like this together makes it all the better. I came home the other day and she had made me a card-had actually rounded the corners, put brads in all four corners (she loves the crop-a-dile even more than I), and had stamped a background stamp plus a saying on it. Guess she has learned more by watching than I imagined. She even coordinated the color-I have to borrow the color wheel from her these days!

I wanted to thank you again for posting these directions and pictures in your gallery. I do not have the SU Scallop punch yet (it should arrive anyday!) but I used the big purple scallop punch and the 1 inch MS circle punch and it turned out really cute.
The little turkeys will look cute on the table for Thanksgiving
