Hello Fellow Teaparty Ladies!!
Last week foxy67 and I were talking about what we were going to do on Tuesdays now. I said that I would be willing to host the teaparties, but I didn't want to hurt or offend Cindy. I sent her a pm and last Tuesday night, this is what she said:
Oh Marilynn, I wish I would have signed on to SCS earlier. Its been quite some time since I have visited....of course I would not be offended....it would be fine with me if you would like to continue.
I am using MMMY1 as my keyword. I just couldn't bring myself to put MMTPT because they won't be the same without Cindy. The meaning of MMMY is Mother Mark Miss You. I would be honored if you would like to join today's teaparty.
Oh Cindy, I'm thinking of you. I know what you mean about taking a break, as I am just getting back from one myself! I hope this "you" time gives you a refreshed outlook and I can't wait to get into trouble with you when you return! Take care!
QUESTION... Why do several of you (when you upload your card) say that you are "late" for the tea party? I have not found any rules to tell me when my card should be posted. It's only six o'clock out here right now and just the right time to go for an evening hay ride.
With what they are putting in that apple cider, they all started sipping early I guess. Hope they don't go sliding off the wagon. The singing is getting a bit loud and raucous.

Hi Garnet - we're not really late - you are correct - there is no time limit - but I guess when we post later at night and a lot of people have already gotten to the party (ie posted!! LOL!)) we FEEL like we are late but it's just all part of the story.... so don't worry - post whenever you can - remember - the teaparties are all make believe and we can get carried away with the web of our stories!!! hope you'll join in!!!

Here's mine, with my memories of walking through leaves as a child MMMY1 Autumn Flowers. by Cook22 at Splitcoaststampers
Thanks for hostessing this week, MariLynn. I like your choice of keyword - it's true.
So, is this spiced cider the same sort of thing as mulled wine? I've never heard of it before this last week or so, let alone tasted it. But it sounds good - I like cider .

I am no expert - but spiced cider would usually be served hot. It has been a long time since I fixed any, but I can remember simmering (well, not quite boiling) with a little mesh bag of spices - like whole cloves and pieces of cinnamon stick. I think sometimes a cinnamon stick can be used as a stirrer, also. It is often a halloween time drink.
Cindy! you go and take care of yourself! I will really miss you. tuesdays won't be the same without you.. or Sundays!!! well just about every day..
Huge Cyber Hugs to you my friend!

I have received many envelopes to forward *wink wink* but haven't done much about it yet because of work and a sprained ankle. Hoping to get something done this weekend!

MariLynn -- I am so sorry I have missed both your MMTPTES and also MMMY challenges -- well I know I can still post a card but I am a bit later than usual ... Life has been very busy and I have finally got all my craft stuff back out and ready to use ... it is a horrid wet day over here today so I will be trying to get a couple of cards posted here ... Thanks for looking after us while Cindy has a break ... WE MISS YOU CINDY .... Hugs Kim
It's Tuesday morning and I am having coffee and thinking how much I miss staring at a teapot and trying to think how I am going to make a card to fit that theme.
Life changes. I hope it is changing for the better for Cindy soon.
