Okay everyone; are we ready for some Ghosting?! Get out your Glossy Cardstock, Versamark and Brayerand let�s have some FUN!
Ghosting is super simple, and so much fun! Here are basic instructions:
With Versamark, stamp your image on glossy cardstock. If desired, stamp other images in classic ink. Allow to dry. You can heat-set with your heat gun if you are in a hurry or just impatient like I am!
Once all images are dry, ink up your brayer (I use the rubber attachment) with Classic (dye) ink (darker colors work better), and brayer quickly over entire piece of cardstock. Continue adding �coats� of color until your background is even, and you reach your desired shade.
Finish your card!
Don�t have glossy cardstock? You can use inkjet printer glossy photo paper! Don�t have a brayer? You can use a sponge! Don�t have Versamark? Try using Craft (pigment) ink and embossing with clear or white embossing powder instead of stamping in Versamark� you�ll technically be doing emboss resist, but you�ve got to play along! No excuses ladies!
Because of the extra drying time, I�ll be a little more lenient on the 45 minute time frame� however, I�ve found that if I work on the rest of the card while the ghosting piece is drying, it�s usually dry enough to brayer by the time I am ready to mount it.
**VERY IMPORTANT! Don�t forget to put �JANVSND� all in CAPS in the keywords so I can find your creation for judging! If you don�t put this in, I won�t be able to find it!!!**

We're still having problems with the site, it is not our computer had our resident geek check it for us. We missed one challenge altogether and are afraid to lose our connection to upload so we will do so at the end (I hope).

Here's mine. You can't hardly see the ghosting b/c I used to light a color for the background.

We're still having problems with the site, it is not our computer had our resident geek check it for us. We missed one challenge altogether and are afraid to lose our connection to upload so we will do so at the end (I hope).

Yeah bb&kk, I am pretty sure many of us are having connection issues -- myself included! No worries. You can upload until tomorrow at noon CST.
