Question Puzzled about 6" x 8" paper pads

Hey everyone, I have noticed that a few companies have stopped making 6 inch x 6 inch paper pads and switched to 6 inch x 8 inch. Is there a reason for this? :confused:

I make my card fronts separately then attach them...

I make my card fronts separately then attach them to a white card base. That way, I only need white card bases and it saves buying lots and lots of coloured cardstock to make into card bases.
