Arrow Why bother? Prices should reflect VALUE

I am seriously wondering here -- how much you pay for the book, the paper and the adhesive, let alone for the embellishments and your time... and make any money at all selling the book for $5 ? And,...

Spray Adhesive would work for Magnetic Boards

I haven't tried this -- I was thinking of using my ATG gun, but now I am considering spray adhesive -- -- Photomount for adhering paper to metal sheeting

Has anyone tried this? I think it would...

Rainbow Seeds

We have chocolate coated sunflower seeds around here -- they have a candy coating, like M&M's, but in a rainbow of colors. I think that those would work perfectly.

They are rather expensive,...

Recently someone posted about clear bags for packaging post-it holders, etc.

Ordering online for cards or archival stuff (acid free/wno't yellow over time) is good for some items, but the goody...

Thumbs up report on my holiday bazaar

Hey All,
Time to report on my one craft bazaar --
I brought in about $245 -- half of what I brought in last year -- but the show was much slower for all there, and I still had a lot of fun. AND...

Ethics and Protecting your interests...

Here is something to consider: are either of these shows asking for a % of your table "take"? Both shows should advertise, and you should also do some advertising among your friends/customers, if you...

Getting the bottom line...

Congratulations! That is just awesome... I am wanting to get a few details, if you don't mind:

How many nuggets in your tins, and how much did your tins cost you?
How many actually sold, and how...

Using UP our stash: a quick way to make more money

Hi All,
In addition to the best sellers conversation -- this group seems to be getting "tight enough" to talk about best sellers that USE UP OUR STASH or other cheap/free items -- this enables us to...

Aw, Thanks, Bugga! And I know what you mean about feeling rich. A few years ago a very, very generous person sold me 1000 of them for $10 -- before he knew what he had, I think -- and I am rather...

Why "nickel and dime" yourself and customers?

I would still say $3 each, or 4 for $10 -- maybe 10 for $20

You are not only a crafter -- but a salesperson -- and your job is to sell as many as you can make, while also making a living wage.

Wink Pricing the THING not the materials/time

I would like to clarify --
This person spent approx. 3 cents per clothespin, and 7 cents per magnet -- using one per (I use 2) -- that is .10 -- without including paper, adhesive, embellishments...

Cool Don't sell yourself short or cheapen your table

If an item is too cheap, people will not value it and consider it as a real gift to give someone. On the other hand, if you simply had a couple of cellophane bags with curly ribbon, you could pop it...

Great Seller for me

YES -- these sold very well -- the key was that I had very, very strong magnets on the back, so folks knew they could put a bundle of coupons or papers and they would stay up.

Under $10 items are HOT -- but be careful... you can be burned.

I find that almost anything that is under $10 is popular -- with "function" being key, and the "wow factor" as a fun plus. Something that everyone doesn't wander out saying, "I could do that" -- but...
