I've done that with DP to tone down colors a bit....

I've done that with DP to tone down colors a bit. I was just thinking that a light coat of white spray paint might work too.

Sabrina, you could try brayering a light layer of acrylic paint over the marker if it's too vibrant or add highlights with your pencils instead...
