I usually use a repositionable spray adhesive called Stick n Spray (they confusingly make one called Stick n Stay as well - avoid that one as it's permanent!). Lots of people use Aileen's Tack It...

I'd recommend giving it a go if you see designs you like! You can put something like an old mouse mat, piece of fun foam or even a magazine under your cardstock before you stamp if you find you don't...
