I agree, with kids that have food allergies - stay away from peanut products. Play dough is a great option and so are lolli pops.

For men - I made masculine themed desk calendars last year. Use more denim paper, blues/greens - darker colored, embellishments on the male side: lawnmowing stickers, hunting, horses, fishing, etc.
