I don't even snip mine open anymore. I just unscrew the lid and either dip a brush right in, or pour a little on a paper plate. My most recent bottle has lasted a lot longer doing it this way....

When I've done scratch -n- sniff cards, I used 1 packet of kool-aid to 1 Tablespoon clear embossing powder. It worked great. My favorite scent was the grape!

One thing you can do with the dried up pens is use them for beaching. Just dip the end in bleach, and color with it.
