I do the cardstock thing, but I use aluminum plumbers taps instead of foil. There are a couple of examples on my blog.

I just wipe mine over with a alcohol free baby...

I just wipe mine over with a alcohol free baby wipe, wood block and acrylics, and they all look like new. As someone else said, I can't imagine actually selling a dirty stamp.

I started mine in January, just for fun really - my kids thought it hilarious that mum was a blogger. However, it has changed my life! I post almost every day and have made loads of blogging friends....
