I have successfully used the SU Naturals White and Ivory for this technique and have found baby oil to be the perfect medium rather than Gamsol or mineral spirits, smells pretty and much safer!

If getting a "perfect image" from your BG is vital (sometimes I just want some background filler and am not so particular, other times I am) then use a brayer to ink your stamp and do the stamping on...
