To be more clear, I put the acrylic paint on top of one of the worthless white ink pads brayed it in evenly and then used it on dark paper, the results vary with experience :)

Versafine works for my most detailed stamps on water color paper and use a bit more pressure than usual all over the stamp

White ink pad alternative

I use acrylic craft paint and wash it off, it has not harmed my stamps, and works better
